and the amount of space marines they unload in each shipement proves why GW spends so much time and energy on SM, people buy them and buy alot of them. They cant help if one race is waaaaaaay more popular than the others. Cant force people to play dark eldar or tau.

@johnkerry7 you don't think it has something to do with the fact that there is as many SM chapters as there is xeno races? :D Not to mention half the xenos got outdated codexes.

@3gnarts i honestly dont really. SM were just as popular as they were when i started. Ease of play, assemble and low model count make them a tempting targte. Not to mention the fluff and look is fantastic as well.

Hey. I was wondering if Blood Angels are a good beginners army. I bought Assault on Black Reach and was thinking about turning the Space Marines force into a starting Blood Angels force.

@Zspear234 All space marine armies are good for beginners really. If you like hand to hand BA are a good choice, but they do shooty pretty well too. My recommendation? Head over to a forum like Dakkadakka or heresy-online and read up on tactics and whatnot to get a good feel for your army. Blood Angels are good, you won't regret them.

razorbacks are fine and dandy, but as far as I recall, they do not actually have the top-hatch sprue (storm bolter, missile launcher, pintle mount to receive either, smoke launcher...... etc etc etc)

@SusFerrum they have everything you need to make a rhino as well (at least the last time i bought one they did). Same for the skyray gunship, it has everything you need to make a hammerhead and devilfish as well.

infact, razorbacks dont cost anymore then rhinos now! im supprised they havnt merged the 2 kits yet (both are 20 pounds in england)

@PibsterPewPew They really should, its the same in Sweden, a Rhino kit and a Razorback kit is exacly the same amount, and both kits contain Rhino's, except one of them can also be used as a Razorback, its just stupid that they still have them in 1 kit, just scratch the Rhino box and repackage the Razorbacks as both.

@Fronken89 i can imagine they are probs saving a little bit of money in the short term by not spending on the redesign of the package (its only got to say rhino / razorback and meybe a few diffrent pictures of the varients on the back) but in the long term they are loosing money on sales of rhinos :/ i hope they change it soon tho too
