Yeah, I have a '94 T/A with a T-56 as well (same tranny as the Cobra). It's not the simplest of trannies, it's got pretty long throws and it's pretty easy to mistakenly put it into 5th instead of 3rd or something when you are learning. I actually learned to driving stick shift with this car a few months ago. And, yeah due to the long throws, when you're not shifting aggressively, it's easy to miss a gear. That's why I really throw it into the gear when I'm shifting. But a short shifter should...
