  • I like you video.

  • I need some advice about IKEA, should I buy something from it, if the prices are the same as the rest of the stores in my country? Please help because they open their first store soon and I really need another bookshelf :)

  • LMAO At her on the table..Too funny!

  • I love this style of video :)

  • cool vid !!!

  • Wow! You managed to assemble all that without once getting up and screaming swear words. I can't say the same about my husband lol.

  • super!!!!!

  • ok

  • I just watched a video of somebody making furniture. And so did 99,881 people. Man, I'm bored

  • Very cool and creative video!

  • ive got to do this tommorow im not looking forward to it, last one i built fell appart and i left it in bits in my old house

  • @jjccccc A tip from someone working at IKEA to build this stuff daily, DO NOT follow the manual they are rubbish most of the time.

  • Is that sofa EXTORP ? its a part of a furniture collection.

  • that was some slick furniture assembly! i wish i was that fast

  • LOL

  • That's how fast I assemble when I have to pee too...

  • Mad assembly skills!! :)

  • Oh, so that is what it is like to have a handy husband! My man would have undeniably been cussing and throwing his tools around at about 0.36 elsapsed time.

  • can she at least cook?????bet not

  • cool 5*

  • The Chairs And The Drawers All Move By Itself! LOL!

  • Has anybody got the Aneboda Double Bed? If So, please give me your opinion? Thanks alot :)

  • i love the stuff from ikea, it's like lego blocks for big people :P

  • Not long ago, I patented an attractive, metal futon frame that can be assembled in about two minutes by one person without instructions, tools, or small parts like nuts and bolts. It's also far easier to convert to a bed than other futons.

I designed it to be cheap and easy to manufacture. I'm selling the exclusive patent rights for $5k plus a very small royalty. You can watch a short demonstration by clicking on my screen name. Contact me any time.

    Thanks for watching.

  • that was probably the most pointless video on youtube. first of all why would you buy ikeas paper furniture and spend hours creating this....

  • assbags!

  • my girlfriend said that looks like me in real time putting Ikea together, lol.

that was entertaining - your girl seems more of a prankster than a help :-)

  • Next time I assemble an IKEA item I will film it assembeling it blindfolded.

  • I second Frankietea.

    More time-lapse than stop-motion.

  • I always cringe when someone uses a power tool on a piece of material whilst leaning on a body part! Why not use another surface?

  • Thats awesome :D

  • tha is cool

  • It must have take you like hours!! good job !

  • lol, 0:45 just push her off

  • lol IKEA is cool :P

but they have no good tv stands. looked for one recently and zellers was like ten times better! ikea is cool though.

  • it's cheap, almost every swedish home has an Ikea furniture.

  • Now why would you name it stop-motion in the heading? The only time you took advantage of "stop-motion" is when the chair moved on its own - and possibly when your wife/gf/friend fell off the table (though that seemed a lot more like removing most of the frames).

It's, as you mention in the description, a short time-lapse. You could have done so much more if you made it a complete stop motion - f.ex: the furniture assembling its self...

  • a ghost move the chair to the position right after he finish the first chair lol...

  • hahaha Did that girl right glad to run the table!

  • I must have missed the part where you curse the instruction manual and throw the hammer.

  • I think one of the best parts was the sun slowly creeping into the room.

I also liked the moving chairs. Nice touch.

  • BRAVO!

  • Did you edit out the domestics, the wood splitting when you put the screws in and the whingeing neighbours when you had to hammer in all the nails?!

  • Excelent assembly!!

  • TRT: 02:05

Actual DIY time: 7.5 Hours LOL

  • judging by the shadow movement...maybe it does LOL

  • cool

    chris

    whats happening

    not much in Scranton

  • I like the part the chair moving....

  • very much agree, it really put the spice on the video

  • wow the sweeds know how to put almost everything you need in the box, yet i find myself still going for extra parts every time i buy something from ikea

  • Clearly, you're doing it wrong.

  • It's cool how something so mundane makes a great video.

    Very nice job.

    We gave you a fiver.

Feel free to come see our mundane chore made into a stop motion video. Ours os of making a baked ziti.

  • how convenient for ikea that flat pack furniture is considered contemporary design.

  • i love putting together ikea furniture, it's always easy for me to do, just follow the diagram, no matter which language i choose to read. It's like lego's but harder.

  • Please come home and do my furniture ^^

  • There's only one thing wrong with this video... a GUY is putting it together and he's looking at the instructions!! lol great video

  • funny. Good idea the chairs sliding.

But you must work at ikea. it is impossible otherwise because we, all, do all the times mistakes. Bad sides, bad screws, bad pices, and so on. forgot to slide this before that and so on !! I am a structural engineer and I hate to build up ikea things. All of them !!! their explanations are so much a joke.

  • cool, I wish it were that fast in real life. LOL!

  • you compliment to his/her husband

  • I love assembling ikea furniture

  • yea me to , im just a DIY type :)

  • frikin awesome, best stop motion ever, nice how the chairs slid to their spots

  • is that birch veneer or beech veener?

  • hahahahah :47 "BIITCH!!!!! get off my ikea"

  • god wow congratulations. youre good at ikea. way to make the rest of the world feel like SHIT!

  • It must have take you like hours!!
