It really depends how you drive it....I drove the speed limit from Indianapolis to Nashville and made 40 mpg in an S....I kid you not....but sometimes in-town driving when I drive it hard I have seen as low as 19...again depends how much foot you have in it..
@Hendricks488 yeah, i've got an '04 non s, and with my upgrades on a good day i can get as much as 45-50 mpg highway, but like you said, when i put my foot into it, it drops, sometimes to about 10 mpg, it really depends on how you drive it, but then again, the same can be said about any car, it all depends on the weight of your foot
Right but you are also talking about two COMPLETELY different cars....you're talking about an R50 that is a completely different Engine than even the R56 non S...Let alone a new engine plus the Turbo Charger...concept, true same deal, mileage always depends on how you drive, but that's like comparing a bottle of Root Beer to a bottle of Coors =)
@Hendricks488 Yes, you drive a valid point. I guess what i was mostly getting at is that simply by letting the engine breath better by upgrading the exhaust and intake alone will aid it's efficiency thus allowing a better over all mpg. Engine performance wise, all i have done to mine is an afe cold air intake and a borla exhaust and i've increased my efficiency by almost 35%, if not more. And I've seen other cars that have had huge increases in mpg by simply letting the engine breath.
