  • Man, i love the intro

  • Someone know a way to make it a bit harder when it gets easy?

  • @ianisas I'm not sure if this is safe or not, but you could lay weights on your back or on your side while doing the plank and sides.

  • he is planking. that is soo one month ago

  • Lol ,... I´m from Sweden.. and i know all this xD .. Is this from Sweden or does it only namnd for Swedish abs drills? xD baaajs.

  • TIP: If you do these exercises make sure to pull in your navel. This develops the deeper core muscles.

    grtz

  • i dont know if you guys have heard of the ab slide but that thing really does abs and back hardcore along with upper chest and waaayyy upper legs

  • Is his exercise a lot of stress on the knees?

  • @pascalinlondon Not alot, but if your not in shape or have mild/serious knee problems you could cause soreness and irritation there,

  • y does this guy not have his own channel??

  • does the ponytail help?

  • @CRAZYLOCO54 Respect him.

  • Forget the Swedish abs...where's the Swedish ass??!!I was expecting hot chicks!

  • Hey cousin Niko! Come to the gym I make you big muscle like Swedish yes?

  • yeaaaah, SWEDEN!

  • these drills are not for official fights. i mean unofficial fights are the most brutal and real ones and thats where these drills are useful for. ok most of these drills i knew already and they are the best ones in the internet. however they are not full i mean there are more fighting ab drills except this one but they are not shared in the internet by Gilson. Anyway i hope Gilson continues making wrestling drill videos.

  • it is not an exercise it is a conditioning routine for creating solid muscle's it does work but dont try it if your weak as hell no point build muscle first then condition those muscles so you can take kicks and punche's without crying in pain lol

  • holy ripped!

  • haha he sounds like the dude off mr deeds ....very very sneaky sir haha but great workout awesome video

  • His Brazilian from his accent.. =)

  • i absolytely agree

  • actually in fedor's videos you see him doing lots of crunches.

  • @genjibob

can't you train the abs with crunches and your back with another kind of excercise?

  • @Gabi24492 I understand what you're saying, but I also get what genji is saying. You can very well do an exercise for each. But the fault with isometric movements - such as doing only crunches or sit-ups to work your abs, and then finding another exercise to work just your back - is that mixed martial arts, and fighting is about using your whole body in unison. Drawing every bit of power from every possible muscle in every movement you make. Training separate muscles trains them to be separate,

  • @genjibob exactly this is for the obliques as well, if is very important for the muscles around the spine to keep it in place, i know this exersizes because of a back injury, they helped re-strengthen my stabilizing back muscles and get me injury free

  • @genjibob

Absolutely correct. In fact, 'sexy' six/eight pack abs can be detrimental in fight, because your organs are not protected as much than someone who has the solid core with a layer of fat over it for shock absorption. I'm glad I'm not the only one who knows this.

  • wow, everyone missed out the most important bit of those exercises youre meant to hold your stomach in and breathe as normal, this strengthens the transverse muscle holding your organs in place, keeping your lower back strait and keeping your abs tight so they dont poke out, due the organs bit this is a good help when getin struk in the stomach. however thheyre great exercises especially 'plank' witch makes your 6pac visible without tensing.

  • are you in the UFC, are you going to kick his ass? if not STFU or BTFO

  • we do these in my wieght training class everday... except the upwards hip thrust, its a good workout... try your arm fully extended on your side and put your leg in the air... if you cant do it at first its okay.. its difficult.. but if you can do this and keep everything straight its an amazing toning workout

  • whered u get those statisics from u wacka?

  • hes a coach you donk, 90% of coaches dont even enter themselves for fights
