To all of you who dont know about this gun I just bought it and its auto only and by far the easiest gun to work on. It weighs about 14 lbs unloaded and about 16 loaded. You can fit a small type battery or stick battery in the stock otherwise refer to what this guy did with the large type. Now for my question...Do you recommend that I get the CA hop up unit because the stock hop up sucks it only shoots 70 ft and the bbs start dropping. The hop up dont do shit.

I also changed switched out the top cover with another cover with rail. But I may consider picking one up because its so damn cheap. When they first came out they were close to a grand or over. they'll take about 2-3 hrs to charge and depending on how hard you run ur gun, the battery should last about 6 hrs of continuous play. at least thts how long mine does and i guess u could say i have LEAD FINGERS! lol hope i helped...

i got the gun, but like he says, the battery is complete shit. after a few days of playing, it wont even hold a charge, and before then, it would only last about an hour or 2. the big problem with my gun, is if i pull the trigger, it keeps firing, untill i press the trigger again, and sometimes, even that doesnt help. does anyone know what i need to do to fix this problem? im not expert on how internals and stuff work, so any help would be greatly appreciated

sounds like a motor problem...i would suggest a new one...maybe even upgrading it with a systema high torque motor and systema high torque gears

I went aherad and got the echo1. I got it the other day from airsoft gi. Its awsome! I riged it like urs but instesad of cuting the conecter off I just bot an adaptor for 5 bucks lolz. I also got the same pouch u do. Works great I use a 8.4 mini and an 8.4 large. I put a mini 8.4 in the but and use it first and then when its done i just swich to the 8.4 large. Its saves time and depending on wat model of the gun u get depends were the batery is located.

This gun is awsome! I got it the other day and from my 7 years of playing airsoft ive had I dono how many guns and I highly reomend this gun. The internals r great. The rof is prety good to. Even thow it is a cheap brand I have to say this is beter then a lot of the big brand m249's.

My box mag just jams. I have to use a allen wrench or something just to un-jam it (it's an issue with the gears, one of the gears gets stuck if you "overwind" it in auto mode). On the other hand, the sound control doesn't work at all on mine. I would just get 5 hi-cap mags or buy a new box mag if you want the gun.

Yes i got mine from Airsoft GI... Also, it came with a 9.6v 1100mah battery and charger... You'll get it in the same styrofoam case... Whether you get it from asgi or evike you'll get the same thing.

Like i said you only can get an "extremely long stick type battery" if you get a customized one. To get a customized one it is alot more money then just getting 2 or even 3 8.4 volt batteries. and not to trash your video but all clips and guns miss feed. But that was an awesome video.
