  • I'm just listening to this song so I can impress a girl

  • Yeah!!!! Everybody use to Rock Their Bikes in the Gym at every Dance!!!

  • why the hell did the dude get mad like a bitch and pedal off in the end of the dance?

  • This is why I loved being a kid who grew up in the 80s. I was 13 when Rad came out. It IS tough to find it anywhere nowadays. Not even the local libraries have it. The BMX freestyling and stunts were great, but the whole 80s culture: big hair, ripped jeans, the best TV shows, the best movies and the music was on point. The songs actually HAD lyrics, lol. URCCougar, thanx so much for posting this videos. It took me back, lol.

  • @Jgeneraledger23 Rad was released in 1986, it's pretty hard to find a good copy of it. Was my favorite movie when I was a kid in the 80's.

  • awesome mortal kombat costumes those twins had, hahaha

  • @AvenueD417 those were awsome futuristic clothes formthe early 80's. we gotta bring those clothes back, man.

  • Lori Loughlin is hot as hell!!!

  • Ahhhh, the days when a backflip was known as an AIR WALK! Can anyone tell me what a SKY WALK was back then???

  • I love when he's trying to forge his moms signature and his sister comes out of the bathroom and nails it.

  • One of the best scenes ever! Full House girl still hot!

  • THAT WAS MY LIFE .MAN THAT WAS A RAD TIME.

  • Right Now !!!!

  • GREATEST...MOVIE....EVER!

  • what do you mean you dont know its your job to know find out 'snort

  • Lori Loughlin is just as hot now as she was when she did this movie

  • The bad guys looked like they stole their jackets from raiden. Loved this flick growing up.

  • I broke my T-6 vertebrae attempting the backflip in the movie.... that was in '86

  • Grew up in the 80's, in the height of BMX and Freestyle, Mountain Dew, The Blue Whale and the ever popular SKYWAY, WOOHOO, Long live the memories. To all the post cell/iPad/computer humans, "YOU MISSED OUT, IT WAS RAD"!!!!!!!!!!

  • Omg. I loved this movieand this song!! Wonder if its on dvd somewhere

  • Sweet bike tricks and the music is so perfect for it.

  • Their BikeDance Fighting!

  • 25 people are with team mongoose.

  • Sometimes you just have to bicycle boogie.

  • I heard they had a 25th anniversary party out in Banff Alberta Canada (invite only)this past summer ..

  • nice of them to set up the balance beam for Cru.

  • i wanna do a cali endo now....................

  • Movie was never released on DVD. Why not is the big question. Although they were selling copies of RAD on DVD on eBay it isn't an actual release. Just a VHS quality transfer to DVD. Hopefully they just skip DVD release and put it on Blu-Ray. I know I'm dreaming.

  • This movie would have been better if they cleaned up the language a little bit. It would have been more kid friendly . I never thought it made the movie any better to throw in some four letters words. Maybe it was more realistic, but not better.

  • Without a doubt my favorite movie from my childhood. "Don't tell Mom the Babysitter's dead" comes in at a close second, but I probably watched "Rad" about 500 times and right after each time I'd storm out of the house and onto my bike :D

  • i remember watching this movie as a kid and then going outside on my bike and building a big ramp....and doing a faceplant on the gravel road. it was pretty RAD

  • this is still my all time favorite film i was 5 when it came out and am still waiting for it on dvd

  • 1. That is the chick from "FULL HOUSE" 2. Dude doing her stunts- and very well and with a sweet afro mullet. 3.That drunk dude's voice disgusts me...he needs to clear his throat or something. 4. Who does stunts in tight slacks and a chiffon sequins-UNLESS she is a drag queen .

  • @TehJedicake LOL!!

  • I love the high heel BMX Freestyle!! Nice!

  • FTR, Lori Loughlin did NONE of those tricks......it was all a stunt double...

  • Wish you could find this move on dvd somewhere

  • @pricci88

I have it on DVD. I bought it years ago, though. I'm sure they are rare.

  • Damn hadn't seen this vid since late 80s sweet! Hope they got it on DVD:)

  • damn i miss my youth...

  • Damn you, Ryan Davis.

  • In the black top/white trousers, is that Lori Loughlin? Or a dude?

  • @billpikkard the one doing the tricks is probably a dude the one in the close ups is her

  • its a dance scene on BMX bikes - golden

  • DOPE$

  • this movie was fricken great, thanks URC for the memories!!

  • I love this movie!! I remember as a kid going to the video store with my grandpa and everytime I would rent this and bloodsport and my grandpa was just laugh and shake his head. Then I would go and try to do the tricks hyped up kn that 80 s music lol

  • this was my fav part of the move.. And the 80's girls were hot back then too.

  • Lol looks crappy now ., but its one of my fav!!

  • good movie good son

  • Exact same thing happened at my HS Prom.

  • Used to love this movie. Used to be able to pop a wheelie and endo. Wish I could do the rest of the tricks.

  • Tranny on the bike at 2.00min .... Amazing.

    I love this movie.

  • 23 people don't believe in heaven above.

  • 3:55 what a fag i'd never leave her behind.

  • 5:18 - You know he is gonna make it, because of that cheerful song!

  • I love how you never see their faces when they're doing the really amazing tricks...

  • @tvnutboy

he just uploaded his review of this like an hour ago XD

his review reminded me of this song <3

  • @tvnutboy

I have been waiting for him to do this movie as well, I have even felt like recommending it to him. However as much as I would love to see that review I would probably also be a little upset while watching it because this is one of my favorite movies of all time.

  • I am female and have a younger sister and we weren't into bikes so I never saw this growing up. I feel like I have missed so much! Everytime my boyfriend go to rent it from our video store (independently owned) it is checked out. haha! Its like totally his most favorite 80s movie. I want to see it too but his disappointment always makes me laugh inside.

  • Aunt Becky is so damn hot !!

  • i new a guy who named his kid after Cru because of this movie LOL

  • I wanna ride my bike right now!!!

  • I want to know which 23 people downvoted this

  • Awesome move (:

  • ehh, this isn't the first bmx movie, bmx bandits in the 70's predated this. staring a young, but now world renound actress, a young nicole kidman at the age of 12-14ish

  • 23 People over rotated.....

  • This movie brings brings back so many memories I remember my friends and I would watch it and then go out and try every trick in the movie , I thought Lori Loughlin was so cute lol , The 80's was a great decade ! some might say it was RAD!!!!

  • ha ha at :13 he has no rotor then he does that 360 on the bike lol so funny and so many mistakes in this movie , but its one of my favorite movies of al time

  • I love this movie! Bought a RAD T shirt off Ebay last year.

  • There is nothing better than jumping one's bike and trying a new trick or riding a new trail. Just getting out there and doing something is great!

  • A generation defining movie. Bmx is all we had, all we cared about. Of course none of my friends or myself had the money to race but you wouldn't have known by the way we rode. We lived on our bikes. The 80's were a special time, i wish some of you kids, and mine could have seen it. It was Rad!

  • @MrLajoieable took the words right outta my mouth...i miss those days :(

  • @MrLajoieable Word!!

  • @MrLajoieable Rad and back to the future were the movies my family lived by. Me and all of my brothers raced and we loved it. I only got to race for 3 years because as you said, shit is expensive. Best years of my life though, I look back and remember how happy I was on my bike giving it my all against the other kids that were there. Fun times man, fun times.

  • @MrLajoieable ya i seen this movie a 1000 times, your right growing up in the 80s was awesome.IT was some of the best times.

  • @MrLajoieable I know what you mean

  • @MrLajoieable i miss the 80's so bad. no internet, no cell phones. people had to actually converse fae to face back then. we had creativity. wish i had a time machine so i could go back to that simpler time.

  • Is RAD out on dvd at all? This was my favorite movie when I was like 5, and I still have my original vhs but it crapped out on me in August. So I can't watch it anymore but I cant throw out the broken vhs cus of too many good memories!! Awesome movie!!!!

  • I swear...Lori Loughlin doesn't age. She still looks amazing. btw, how in hell did the producers come up with the idea to have an olympic gymnast play the role of a bmx superstar? lol

  • every kid that watched this movie would jump on the bike and hit the streets right after it was over and try every trick in the book. Usually ended up with some scraped up elbows. LOL!!!!

  • @matt24d1 im 13, and if i had good brakes, id do it too, i love this movie...

  • @matt24d1 One time, as I tried to pull a wheely going down a hill, I actually broke my arm, scrapped the upper portion of my lip off, sprained my ankle, and had the cranks land on the back of my head. Seven stiches, a cast, and a half pint of blood. I was eating apple sauce out of a straw for a few weeks. LOL!!!!

  • If you look closely, she totally turns into a guy with a wig.

  • 21 people got sent a devil. LOL

  • THE BEST TIME TO HAVE EVER GROWN UP!!!!!

  • Damn this movie was a classic!

  • Let's walk this sucker!

  • I bet john stamos would be jealous of Becky now

  • THE TIME BEEN A KID,THEN YOU LOOK BACK ON THOSE YEARS WHEN THERE WAS ONLY ATARI,WE HAS KIDS WILL BE OUTSIDE ALL DAY ON OUR BIKES......

  • I'm soooo glad I come from this era.

I was obsessed with this movie back then. I would sit on my bike in the living room and just watch this tape over and over.

and i STILL have my GT Pro Series from the 80s!

  • this was the gayest part of the movie...

  • TOTALLY RAD!!! the 80's were the bombitty shizzle yo! :'D For real.

  • the 80's were the greatest time to be a kid or a teen

I was 10 years old when I first saw this movie

I watched it with my parents on movie night

this movie inspired me but since I was only 10 I was stuck with my small bike till I was 12 when my father took me in the garage on Christmas day after opening all my presents, and there was my new BMX bike that I immediately started doing tricks on

    I miss those days

all kids care about now is fucking video games

GET OUT OF THE FUCKING HOUSE&PLAY

  • Aunt Becky is so rad!!

  • I was ten or eleven when this movie came out. My three racing friends and I would watch the hell out of this movie and then go out and try doing some freestyle I sucked but blamed it on my bike so I convinced my dad to go buy a dyno comp with fold down pegs so I wouldn't $@!& up my haro. God I'm getting old but the memories are the best.

  • when I was a little kid I was obssed with this movie.

  • FORGET TOYS AND EWLETRONICS@!!!! I WANT BMX!

  • big influence on some of us i see how about bmx bandets not as cool thrasher was though

  • I can't wear shoes that might scuff the gym floor but it's okay to freestyle on your bicycle?

  • best ever movie made...perfect song love it

  • One of the best 80's movies ever. Rented this like once every couple of months as a kid, and even recorded all the songs with a tape recorder from the TV lol. Best's voice (the team Mongoose owner) is so nasal it's scary - dude must be a hell of a snorer.

  • Noone gave a fuck about backflips then and now you get paid in full

  • Cru is Rad...

  • WOW......this brings back so many memories. I remember being so excited when my older brother won a red BMX bike for me at the Georgia state fair back in the late 80's. I thought I was the shiznit! =)

  • Wow I'm 35 and I don't remember this movie at all, I'm surprised others my age do. I was in 10 in 1985 and was into the BMX craze in 4th and 5th grade but I never heard of this film. The Send me an Angel song from 1989's The Wizard brought me here. Maybey I was too busy watching Knight Rider, though the chick at 4:16 is very familiar looking.

  • been trying to find this on DVD forever. Doesn't exist. So sad.

  • @SpineBuster I downloaded this movie from vuze. Decent download. It was the only place I could find it.

  • @SpineBuster

Yes it does. Not sure it's still in print but I own it on DVD.

  • @Atari26 its a bootleg then. RAD has never had an official DVD release.

  • Too many times seen this and all times are the best!

  • Tried doing all those trix on my GT pro-former back in da days. RAD was the soundtrack of my life. soon after I joined an L.A gang did drugs and fucked up my life. Now im 35 yrs old and recovering. RAD is still in inspiration to me.

  • Spokes n stuff on santa monica and gardner. Those were tha days .

  • Lori Loughlin is a MILF :D

  • @vinesboyseventysix Video games were also superior in those days.

  • @DiamondGB fuck nostalgia whores.

  • @redfoxbennaton you're just a kid. You don't know any better.

  • @DiamondGB no you don't know any better. Your stuck in a rut and now you have too turn memories.

  • @redfoxbennaton= No, he's right. Sorry Mister Bieber. The truth hurts.

  • @vigo894 oh look another nostalgia whore. Yes the truth hurts, it hurts the fact that his life has gone so far down the tubes since his parents broke up and now the only thing good in the world too him is the past.

  • @vinesboyseventysix Who wouldn't trade an xbox for this....Hell if I knew anyone near me willing to try I'd do it.

  • @vinesboyseventysix you spelled can wrong.

  • @redfoxbennaton thanks for that, captain obvious.

  • @vinesboyseventysix your welcome.
