  • cool.

  • LOL 2:15

  • Don't act cool

  • very impressive.. what size servos did you use?

  • @miakeru1 Just go to the info link for designs.

  • put it on a car and post a video pls.

  • @adhimahajan Look at my other ERP videos, it's already on a wheeled robot =P

  • So basically its a really complicated system that would be much easier just to do with your regular hand?

  • how do u make it radio controle?

  • @IGOR722 Watch my 'Remote Control Robot Tutorial' video, silly =P

  • You should attach this to a car body and sell it.

  • @devdude53 Actually, I put two of them on a robot. See my other videos with ERP in the title.

  • do you control your erp with a radio remote or with bluetooth

  • @ibm322 In this video, radio remote. But usually Bluetooth.

  • when you are controlling your erp did you take this remote or you control it with something else?

  • @ibm322 I don't understand the question?

  • dude thats a great idea it would be great for old people who cant reach items from where there siting if u made the shaft longer and made an easyer way for the person to useit i.e. a foot pedal . u could mass produce it and sell it and get big buks (just a thought) but great over all very imprecive

  • lol in the end! good job!

  • Your remote is similar to mine, I have a Hitec Laser 4 (I also have a Hitec Optic 6).

Good arm by the way, I made a similar one on an RC butler I made. You can have a look at it on my channel, I should eventually upload a better video of it.

  • Which servos did you use?

I'm on a tight budget, so i don't want to have to keep replacing them when they break.

Also, would having metal gears make the servo stronger and less, um... breakable?

  • See the ERP link on my website. It has designs and a part list.

Metal gear servos often have plastic gears in them, too. Those break occasionally on me.

  • servo's with metal gear don't brake easily,

they can pull and draw around the 13kilo,

    but they are very expensive,

they are called "high torque servo's" and cost around the 30/40 buks per servo (with metal gear!)

  • from 13 kilo to 30 kilo!!!!

  • wow, i wish i could do that.

  • i made a helicopter and took a wire of the chip and it burned me anyway.. it can pick up some candy,,, mmmm candy btw i love science and technology everyone calles me a nerd =]

  • what remote are you using in the video, i am 13 and i love robotics, my remote recently broke so i have to get a new one, i am making a spy robot out of an rc tank, and i need a remote to make the camera move and have a robot arm

  • look at my other video, called "Remote Control Robot Tutorial"

  • dude mount that to a car and u could do soooo much stuff with it

  • You should see my video where the arm is actually on a robot and throwing a tennis ball =P

  • " I can pick up some candy... MMM Candy...." Lol

  • i cant find the hobby servos do u no if radio shake has them

  • Buy servos online for the best deal. RadioShack used to sell some, not sure anymore.

  • Well, I custom designed it, and attached regular hobby servos to it. Go to my site and start reading!

  • So, I noticed you had the gripper servo motioned all the way closed even for the big items like the water bottle. How does it not keep trying to tightening the gribber closed even when that wold mean crushing the bottle... or more likely breaking the servo?

BTW Nice robot... did you get it from a kit?... lol j/k! I saw your comments in the webpages.

P.S. Awesome... AWESOME website. Is the site just a hobby or do you make a living off of the axon and such?

  • The gripper servo isn't strong enough to crush anything. The servo just sits there slowly heating up . . . As long as it doesn't do it for long, nothing bad will happen.

As for making a living . . . right now I'm living in a 3rd world country so it doesn't take much money to pay the bills here =P

I don't make anything off the site, but I make a little from my Axon sales.

  • Thats cool! I saw the little battery...or was it just something on the floor? and at the end....XD how'd you do that without it breaking it?

  • That's a battery and receiver. See my site, I used FEA to test to see if it'll break =P

  • ahhh that was a great idea!!! i have been stressing my self out on how im going to do the gripper... thnx dude ;D
