  • @turdpowerz I agree totally!!!! this was my first you tube video tho, and I didnt know a what I was doing; so thus we have this crappy song! soon I'm going to remake this video and I'll put a better soundtrack to it! thanks for commenting!!

  • @chaddythepimp1973 Your truck is sick bro good job. Clods rule

  • @turdpowerz thanks!!!

  • if i were to buy a stock set how dificult is it to build?

  • @drum3rboi10 not real difficult, you can goto "welcome to clod parts (dot) c-o-m" and see how they are built and so on, I suggest if your on a budget to get the ESP Clodzilla 4 pro race kit on e-bay for around $129. when I last checked. If you can afford it tho; get the Xtreme racing XC2 carbon fiber full race kit! it's the best going! goodluck!!

  • ill buy one how much

  • Thank you for your quick response, my son is after one of these and didnt realize all the extensive details in these clodbusters. Thank you for your advice.

  • @luckiblue7 your welcome, but you know if he just wants to have fun with a monster type truck, just by a #3905 Traxxas E-Maxx and he'll have a ton of fun! and with the tower hobbies super saver club membershit he can get one for under $360.00

  • @chaddythepimp1973 membership**

  • @chaddythepimp1973 membershit lol nice tuck man

  • @sk8er51472 yeah that was a froidian slip, and thank you very much!

  • can you tell me how much these sell for fully equipped?

  • @luckiblue7 well its hard to say to buy a new clod and put all this stuff into it will cost you well over $1000 with radio system, ESC, battery and motors. Just for the truck with everything new here including the ceramic $89.99 bearings its over $600+ so your best bet is to buy a good condition clod, buy a clodzilla 4 kit from ebay for $120, some integy wheel wideners for around $20 and you'll basically have the same thing, plus you can get a cheap bearing set from hong kong for around $10:)

  • where do i get the thing that connects the esc to the other thing..sorry im new at this..but its a little rod what is it called?

  • @charg2456 a power wire ? it all depends on what "Rod"??? Your talking about actually there are no rods connecting anything on this truck. A suspension "link" connects the gearboxes to the chassis but, 14 guage wire connects the ESC to the motors, and the ESC's signal wire connects it to the receiver

  • @chaddythepimp1973 its the thing that connects from the esc to the thing that makes the esc go forward and reverse

  • @charg2456 it is called a "signal wire" and Novak sells them you can get one here make sure you add a "world wide web" to it ! 3"DOT".towerhobbies"DOT"com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXADX0&P=SM

  • @chaddythepimp1973 no not that..the little metal piece

  • @charg2456 I have no idea what your talking about , there is only 8 susp. links and 4 chassis link connected to the chassis, but no rods ?

  • @chaddythepimp1973 i have a futaba fp-s148 and i need the little metal piece that connects that to the esc

  • @charg2456 ok first off , no rods connect to the electronic speed control(ESC) second, the front steering servo has a "Kimborough servo saver" on it and THAT connects the steering servo to the left side steering knuckle (or upright) and its not a "rod" but it's called a "steering link" rods are metal with threads on the ends this is an alumium link I hope that answers your question. There are no rods connecting the ESC to anything tho! unless you have a stock tamiya 3 step controller then >Cont

  • @chaddythepimp1973 <Cont. it's called a 3 step speed control piano wire with 1 or 2, "Z" bends also called by Tamiya a "Crank Rod" !

  • @charg2456 the part is called BR5 and its in the "Rod Bag" #9405349 (tamiya part number)

  • @chaddythepimp1973 thank you so much.. and im new at this

  • @charg2456 Yeah I kinda figured that out lol. Good luck Charg!

  • where can i get a good but cheap chassis?

  • @charg2456 on ebay you can get an ESP clodzilla 4 kit with everything for $120.00 shipped the last time I checked, it's the best way to go cause it comes with everything but the axles, needed to convert your clod to a monster !!

  • What is your ebay seller name? Are you still selling these rc vehicles? If so, please let me know the item number for them on ebay. Thanks.

  • @hmg30 I make them to order bro, but my name on ebay is C.K. Hobbies. If you want one depending on used or new let me know how you want it and I'll give you an estimate, thanks !!

  • ya? I was checkin out that they do custom length links...looks official!

  • yes very good stuff, thats exactly what you see on my clod in this video !

  • I just bought a used TXT1. I'm thinking of extending its wheelbase by about 1".

  • do it up !! crawford performance engineerin (CPE) has the cheapest prices for excellent suspension links, I would check them out ! n Good luck with the TXT !!

  • Is there any way to run brushless in a clod without having to use 2 (two) brushless esc's? I'm now torn between a single motor powered TXT-1 and a Clodbuster. Thanks for all your answers btw.

  • unfortunately no, I would go with the TXT-1 if you want to go brushless and only want to use 1 brushless ESC/motor setup, but if you could get 2 traxxas velineon brushless systems and throw in it you would defintely have the fastest clod around with 11.1v it would be almost uncontrollable !!! and if you want with anything faster than a 8.5 you will need aluminum or steel gears and alum. gearbox cases.

  • and your very welcome ;)

  • Clodzilla is an old racing chassis. I would go with CPE Terminator or Thunder Tech Ripper Pro

  • its not a clodzilla chassis, it's an RC4WD Rockbull !! Check the Desc. of the video !

  • plus I don't like the way the way CPE's suspension articulates it's just not realistic

  • nice truck 5 stars. Do you think that esp clodzilla chassis iv is good for race?

  • yep it's probably one of the best out there, light, tough, and handles pretty well with the sway bars installed(when you buy the whole clodzilla4 kit)

  • the clodzilla iv has swaybars? or do you add them custom?

  • yes it has them stock when you buy the whole conversion kit(on ebay for $149.99).

  • what esc is that

  • It's a Novak GTB 6-cell ESC, Thank you for your comment !

  • what chassis did you use

  • its a RC4WD rockbull chassis and I added a plate on the bottom to convert it to a clodzilla type 4-link system.

  • Five stars, Clod Master! LOL

  • lol !!thanks bro enjoy your Clod !!!
