The whole song is about Matthew Thiessen Analyzing himself. I'm mildly bipolar myself and I know what he's talking about. When he's literally loving life to the fullest, eventually it stops and turns to depression for no outside reason. This happened to me, I went to see my girlfriend proposed to her she said yes. A day later my brain couldn't handle the excitement and I got sad.
