sorry for the double post but hunters all the way, there just is no way hunters can hit enough to compensate for hunters speed. 4 arrows/second with critical = godly dmg.

you don't need scrolls to be strless...just weird a sauna robe, longbottom shoes, maple bow or crow, and a bamboo hat or maple hat or w/e. Plus an archer doesn't really need hp anyways.

Yah well my freinds said I should make a hunter instead and I did, well not without trying the xbow first. They good and all, but they're more like a turret where you gotta hold the fire button because it's really slow in the beginning. I like to jump shoot and with xbows, I shoot after I jumped, landed and w8ed another second. Found out the bow is more my spazzing jump style. you're still awesome!!

Im a lev 35 hunter o.o but xbows are great to they arn't slow if u have bow booster or something like that they shoot regular the speed of a regular bow and they inflict alot of damage like you see so Hunter and Crossbowman both got there good skills and non of them suck =P nice vid

I'm a fan of both types of archers, I really don't see how different they ae past 2nd job, when booster makes their speed hardly different at all. The damage isn't mugh different at all. Really the difference that made me choose hunter is that Xbows cover up your face. 0.o

well i say arrow blow is more useful than double shot. i say this cause arrow blow has a chance to knock back and all the damage is in one arrow. double shot is good but the damage is split between two arrows and this could be a problem if u trying to knock back monsters

You guys don't know what you're talking about. Let's start off with critical. It adds 100% damage if it works, it doesn't double it. HAS BEEN PROVEN! So... AB with crit is 260+100=360%. DS with 1x crit is 130+130+100=360%. DS with 2x crit is 130+100+130+100=460%. Thus DS is better. Add to that the fact that DS does MORE STABLE damage, and it's obvious why everyone picks DS.

DS is better then AB and Focus > Blessing. You won't be lacking any accuracy, trust me.

And str = lvl + 5 indeed. The rest into dex.

I've tried both DS and AB. AB damage is unstable and lower.

I had two archers, and the DS one simply owned the other one.

Making a strong bowman isn't really hard btw, it just requires a lot of patience. Max Crit, Eye and DS in that order, it's failproof.

I have a sniper lvl 78, and my friend is a ranger, same level. We both have good bows, with scroll addons, but my Crossbow has a little more attack, But I do x2 more dmg than him, and with the Faster shooting skill, I shoot just as fast as him.

Archers are both the best and worst class in maplestory in terms of damage. They can do the highest damage out of all the classes of the same level. but there damage is HORRIBLY unstable also making them the worst class. an example of this is when i was lvl 31. i did 1000+ damage with my first arrow, but right after that i did 73 damage which really pissed me off
