I don't really follow Indy racing but I had to check this out just because I was in the bookies the other day speaking to an American bloke who had put £100 on Hilderbrand to win at 100/1 he told me he pretty much had his jacket on and was ready go collect it then this happened he still had the betting slip on him and showed it to me, poor fella.

GIve the guy a break. This was his first race at indy and does not have as much expirence with this track as most of the other guys do. He made a rookie mistake and i know dan has crashed as well just not on the last lap. Give him a few more years and we will see what he is racin like then.

How did he do that?!?! he knows there are a sea of marbles on the outside, your just gonna slide into the wall. You just back off and ease yourself out of the corner, and pass the backmarker on the straight.

I don't understand why it took 8 seconds for the caution light to come on. If the caution light had come on within 5 seconds J.R. wins. You can't pass under the yellow. Wreck happens at 32 sec. pass is at 38 sec. caution light comes on at 40 sec.

Kinda saw it coming when he took the outside to overtake the back marker. Felt sorry for the guy. He's young, though, and has a lot to learn. He sure learned a lot today.
