I have gotten to the part where that guy with the mask says something about a sprinkler and a toilet, I don't know if I can go further without doing this puzzle, I haven't done any of the other puzzles because truth be told I had no idea what that bastard was on about..do I have to do all the puzzles in order to proceed?

*from last post* Two of the more main characters, where it wasn't so clear who might be good or evil, were Jack and Locke. They had been friends for a time, but eventually they split, Locke wanting to stay on the island, while Jack wanted to leave. By the end, they had finally come to an agreement. It's not so much about good and evil or one winning over the other than it is about balance.

On the discussion of good and evil, well, I have yet to finish the game, but I do have theories. It is quite obvious that Harman and Kun Lan represent two opposing forces, just as the US and Japan are in the game. But Harman and Kun Lan also appear to be friends. It reminds me a bit off Lost(beware of spoilers). Both Jacob and the Man in Black were brothers and grew up together, but eventually ended up on two opposite ends of light and dark and their interests were "not mutual". *continued*

I think you're thinking in too 'black and white' of terms. I don't think it's about "good and evil". Light and dark are two sides of a coin -- yin and yang, heaven and earth, male and female, East and West. Kun Lan is the influence of the East, and Harman of the West. From an Eastern perspective, Kun Lan may be God (note the 'God Hand') and Harman, Satan. Note also how Kun Lan is a creator of life, and Harman, a destroyer.
