We ran around the neighborhood with friends and played kickball and backyard baseball and tag. Our parents actually parented us, rather than letting the tv babysit us all day so they could sit around and play games themselves...

During the day I was outside playing with my friends, and starting to look for girls (lol) I didn't try picking up girls in some chat room, or sit on my ass all day texting my friends.

@Ratgrappler Well, kids shows werent on then as often as they are now, plus we didn't have cable, so no Nick, Cartoon Network, or Disney Channel.

Then again, at the time the Disney Channel then was more like how Discovery or TLC (back then they were almost cable versions of PBS) were with a slight children's slant.
