  • Paul Merton's series offers yet another interesting perspective on travel and the people of the world. Thank you for uploading.

  • I like how he uses his hands to eat the snake..must learnt from india!

  • If you want over the top not sincereness but look at me I am on a show watch Michael Palin instead.

  • @carphi100 WOW, accusing Michael Palin of insincerity is a bit like accusing 'The Jersey Shore' of alienating its audience through intellectualism. It's completely ridiculous.

  • begining to appreciate asian chinese culture even more

  • i love this paul merton british guy. he is so funny. if i ever go to china emma is going to be my guide lol

  • I can't stand turd-faced Merton. He is so smug.

  • @karezza6 I can't stand youtube trolls, they're a bunch of cowards.

  • @karezza6 don't watch this video then

  • Nanjiecun like that? I did not expect that

  • There's a cute white guy in the back at 7:01!

  • This is not your sweet home us ,if you don't follow the rules here just go home , i feel soo sad for those people who are singing ,and this man came in soo rude and want to turn off the music , who do you think you are ? retard

  • @MrMarcocaofanhua all paul does is discuss chinese hip hop, he talks with the artists, he doesnt turn their music off, I think you misunderstood him.

  • @MrMarcocaofanhua it was for a joke you twat. he carried on singing with them. you obviously have no sense of humour or understand british humour.

  • shtupid westerners who do you think you are ? i really don't like this man !!!!!!!!!!! go home !!!!!!

  • @MrMarcocaofanhua My friend? He spoke so many good things about China. When he returned to the UK, he told everybody to go and visit China. This was a wonderful program to promote China and Chinese people. How can you be so angry?

  • thanks for putting this up

  • At the end did he just hooked up with the karaoke girl

  • Ptain' le faux Château Lafitte est vraiment ridicule... OMG, the fake Château Lafitte is absolutely ridiculous !

  • Chinese hip hop is bad lol, our crap culture is infecting some of the youth there also. At least they're rapping about the food and not about robbing, raping, killing, doing time in prison and just glorifying violence and stupidity in general.

As far as the Chateau Hotel ...."I feel very proud to bring the European culture to China" Should have left it there bub. The place is so monstrous and distasteful I would be horrified to spend one night there .

    Traditional China looks the best.

  • @dlsbucur and by traditional I don't mean communist ugh

  • @dlsbucur I admit a lot of hiphop has negative connotations, but generalising it as crap culture is ridiculous. P.S. The hotel is quite strange.

  • @gelert456 Why? The roots of hip hop may be a genuine expression of black culture but in the commercialized state that it's in today it's really a cancer for the black community. It objectifies and degrades women, promotes gang life, drug use and trafficking, murder, violence, crass materialism, big egos etc . Are the values that hip hop is promoting conducive to a successful well balanced life for a young black male in America? No, it's either jail or an early grave. Crap culture.

  • @dlsbucur well then you don't know real hip hop

  • @gelert456 Would you kindly point me to some real hip hop? Maybe I can broaden my horizon. I live in America and have spent years living in a ghetto in the heart of California surrounded by the hip hop culture and it's results. If you know something I don't know I am open to learning.

  • @dlsbucur a californian rapper by the name of MURS promotes non-violence, TALIB KWELIand MOS DEF are quite good also, HIEROGLYPHICS are pretty good as well, ERIC B & RAKIM along with KRS-ONE are legends, listen to these artists on youtube and tell me what you think.

  • @gelert456 Most of these guys are REALLY old school, I have never even heard of some them. They're not bad and I definitely wouldn't call them crap culture. But let's be honest they're not representative of today's mainstream hip hop culture which is what I had in mind.

Drive through the hood in America today and you won't see young black men at the street corner in suits playing the sax a la Eric B and Rakim . That ship has long sailed.

  • @dlsbucur

    i totally agree

  • What I love 'bout this is that Paul is being honest with his reactions and not faking what he doesn't like!

  • @dkmystery absolutely, its important to show both the positives and negatives. Although I feel he is too judgmental at times but generally unbiased and fair throughout the series

  • @gelert456 exactly!

I love ur channel, keep uploading such travel vids, I love watching them :)

  • oh dear! to be in a taxi whose driver doesn't know the way!!!

  • @dkmystery im not sure he genuinely didnt know the way lol
