She will not get better -because its not first week nerves, she doesn't have the witt, intellect and more importantly 'classic dance' training to give indept informative comments. Its obvious.

As a blackperson its a shame she took the job, everyone should know their strenghts and weakness. She also has an irrating laugh, talks as the other judges are giving their critique and laughs all threw brunos commons- unclassy- too common for strictly.

Minodernaire-Cheryl Cole is crap-Halliwell a bore, osborne i disagree was great.

All the above were selecting/judging amateur-wanabe singers. Miss Dixon is judging both professional and celeb amateurs, with for months experience, oh and she auditions pop dancers.

Plus Arlene -yes sour at times Philips was sacked a lady with 40+ years experience so we could listen to he looks great in pink. I AM a BLACK lady but Aleshia is crap,.

Why is it that these reality show viewers can accept judges such as Geri Hallewell, Cheryl Cole, Dani Minogue, and even Sharon Osbrorne.

None of these female judges had any real talent as a judge all of them can't even sing everyone knows that they are hired because of their popularity and looks!

But when a black women is made the judge theres all this outburst!

At least Alesha had been through the competition she knows what its like!

Regarding your statement on Alesha Dixon...I agree that the backlash was out of order...but I must correct u on the Cheryl Cole point...she has been through what X factcor contestants have been through ..remember that's how Girls Aloud came to be.. so she is justified to judge on the same basis as Alesha( not saying that I think Cheryl is a good singer!) The mistake made with the Strictly Come Dancing judging panel was that Alesha Dixon should have been added as an EXTRA judge, NOT as a replacement for Arlene Phillips. It's not too late to rectify this.

Regarding Alesha! Yes I agree 100% with what u say . She SHOULD have been an extra judge to ADD to not replace Ms Phillips..

Even better I think they could have used her as a roving reporter to find young undiscovered people/ street dancers and connect them with Formal Dancing...could have been a spin off show!!

The back lash against Alesha is really unfair. She is not being given a chance to settle into her new role and prove herself. Yes, Arlene has more technical knowledge but she sometimes came across as humourless. It is such a shame that the first Black judge on an entertainment panel is receiving such treatment.

I have been a fan of Strictly for ages but was very disappointed that Arlene was sacked and Alesha Dixon appointed as a judge. I found it embarassing to watch Alesha on the programme on Saturday as she seemed out of her depth and kept talking about the dancers 'arms'. I thought she was a great contestant on the programme but, in my opinion, is awful as a judge as she simply does not have the same level of expertise as the wonderful, witty, beautiful Arlene.

I like Aleisha but seriously she's not qualified to be a judge on competitive ballroom dancing, why not have one of the dancer's as a judge for that matter. The BBC not only have they been ageist but also sexist. Lets face it there are three males to one female on the judging panel. Could one of the men not have gone Craig, Len or Bruno I don't mind which. Don't think they'd be too pro Aleisha then if one of them had been axed!
