if u take a candle and light it then wait for the liquid wax and dip the strike anywhere or the kitchen matches in there they become water proof. just saves a little money and they work really well. all u do is scrape the wax off when u r ready to use them.
For the strike anywhere ones , you can light it in the end of your front tooth only it needs a lot of practice. Lol once i burnt my gums but i am 13 so i never gave up!! And i am subscribing to you even know i only saw 2 of your vids
1. It is a terrible, and I mean terrible idea to put wild plants in your mouth. Some plants look alike. If a plant that looks like the yarough is poisonous, you've just chewed up poison.
2. Strike anywhere matches are good, but a lighter is better. In a true survival situation, you're better off with a lighter.
Dip your strike anywhere matches in varnish, and let them dry, then dip them in melted parrafin wax to waterproof them. Scrape off the wax, and they will strike off a knife blade or a rock easily. The varnish makes them burn hotter, and it holds the sulphur and other ingredients together better. You should have used the file in a pushing or drawing motion to flatten the spine. It works faster, and is a lot safer. Great vid. 5/5

Try striking it in a circler motion and if that does not work try a little harder.but not to hard or it will snap or rub off.

Don't eat the actual needles as they are hard to digest but you can chew on them for nutrients. You can eat and swallow the young buds however

Great video.
Not to sound mean, but the way you were using that file was wrong and a bit dangerous.
Putting pressure on the file like you were could cause it to snap. And knowing this from experience.
When a file snaps it shears off and is VERY sharp....It can and will cut you.
Again, just letting you know.
