If you sink any money into one, you're better off with the awd of a vr4, fwd's just aren't that sturdy over 350-400 horse (poor grip and horrible torque steer)

@hjaltigto I have a 3000GT base model non turbo. when i bought it, the engine went, and i didn't even race it, then not long after that, The transmission gets stuck in first gear. I never beat it up. I spent a lot of money on this thing and I can't drive it until i come up with the money to fix the tranny. I looked this car up online and most people who have these get the same issues, the engine usually ticks before it goes and it smokes a lot. Keep this thing for a while but sell it later.

You should know something about cars by now, cheap doesn't mean great quality. That's okay though, as long as you love it then it's all that matters. :D

If you try to get a new one from japan, it will cost like 3-5 grand. Might as well get a new one. My engine for my 1994 3000GT was $1,200. I knew one person who had it, but they wanted 2,000. Private owners are greedy, and dealer too pricey. Junk yard and trust me you will find it there, it's not reliable car, it's surely there.

91-93 TT/VR-4=9psi stock

94-99 TT(Production ended for the Stealth in 96)/VR-4=11psi. Most people take stock turbos to 14psi, you'll more fuel and a means to control it if you want to go any higher, but at this point imo you might as well grab bigger snails, as the stock 9b's don't hold psi to redline and are small to begin with.
