mm yea she was. kinda like a garage group, as in ones who practced in a garage. some receptionist heard a tape of their music and thought they were good and passed it on to her boss and the boss liked them, told pink she was the best voice of them and she went out on her own then. not sure of all the details, but thats generally how it worked out.
