i've got a zoom 3030,it's good for beginners,because it's easy to use,only footswitch knobs and stuff,but i don't use it now,i use a vox tonelab,small,but easy to use,and great efx

you cannot get jimi's tone from digital processing. your playing is very nice, but it sounds like exactly what it is. a strat plugged into a digital effects box.

Dude come on spend more time practicing and listening to music and less time posting videos of this stuff. It is silly your not ready yet. I'm not trying to be a Dick I'm trying to give advise. Get out and play with some musicians at an open mic get your chops down before you post sound clips about Jimi's sound. Don't let this stop you from playing let it inspire you to learn more and post something stronger when your ready.

this is the worst hendrix video i have seen. no where near enough sustain or bite it sounds so thin and it just looks like ur just throwing notes together without playing with any feeling or tempo. its all about feeling not random notes and what gear you have hendrix is more than that,

Dude, it sounds nothing like Hendrix. He drove his amp to the max and used the guitar volume to clean it up, no clean channel.

it doesn't sound like hendrix that much, in my opinion... -_- hendrix's tone is one of the most difficult to emulate, the same for his playing style. your playing aint bad though dude, keep on practicing.

there is no such thing as a "1959 marshall" because marshall wasnt founded untill the 1960s

the Hendrix Tone is as "in the fingers" as you can get. it's all in the fingers.

I think it is imposiible to copy Hendrix style,but the style is in the fingers, de tone and the sound is in the gear, If you change the amp, settings, pick ups, the sound changes completely

Its a custome patch, and the sound also comes from the neck's single coil and my amp
