  • Great video. Thank you.

  • Thank you for this video, I never expected to see film footage of Bodney in action, brilliant.

  • In memory of my grandpa, Lt. Charles "Chuck" Owens, pilot of PE-G 414084 "Tesseroo", 328th FS, 352nd FG. Went on to a successful Air Force career through the '70s. I never knew him but he has inspired me to pursue an AF career myself. God bless these great men, one and all.

  • My grandfather was actually an armorer in this squadron, I have a picture of him with the Cripes a Mighty.

  • @danaganooc Greatness!!

  • Thanks for Posting!... HERO'S all of them!

  • I'm good friends with Punchy Powell of the 328th FS of the 352nd FG, and Don Bryan as well. They are truely amazing heroes. I'm proud to be a member of the 352nd FG Association. I believe these videos were shot by Jim Bleidner who was the armorer for Lt. Col. J.C. Meyers. He sent my brother and me a disc of some home movies he did at Bodney. It's great to know them, and be able to shake their hands and say "Thanks, for serving your country!"

  • Incredible footage, thanks!

  • Gerorge Preddy is the highest scoring P-51 ace in World War II, with 26.83 enemy air-to-air kills. He was born in my hometown of Greensboro, NC.

  • My Dad was 352nd FG Captain E. B. 'Frenchie' Dubay at Bodney in P51'Little Buster'. At 22 making Nazis die for Hitler in German skies. When I was 22, I couldn't find my butt with both hands in my back pockets! Now I'm retired from an airline career with much better perspective of just what my young Dad was made of, and grateful for the life he led me to. Dad and Major Pretty toasted never to forget Lt. Bob Frascotti who's crash on the dark field lit the safe way to Normandy. I'm on your 6 Dad.

  • Does anyone know what the p-51 with 414151 as the tail number was called? I have a model of it and I would like to know.

  • Was Col.John Meyers "Petie 2nd"..then passed onto Lt.Sheldon Heyer and became "Sweetie Face". Also served with the 361st FG and ended up in crashing landing.

  • What a great film.good to see new footage like this.

    Thanks.

  • Great posting. Well done!

  • This film was late in coming to the members of the 352nd FG Assn. We were delighted to find it, and happy to see it shared on YouTube.
