@laxrider616 You will need to check the owner's manual of your Jeep to make sure that the Jeep, as well as the hitch you have in place, can handle the weight of the carrier when it is loaded. To prevent damage or a dangerous situation, you can not overload the vehicle or the hitch's weight capacity. As long as the Jeep can handle the weight, this carrier should work.
A receiver carrier might be a good idea for one bike, but two??! This thing really extends way off the back of the vehicle and I'd think the torque on the receiver on a bumpy road would be severe. (Not to mention having the vehicles headlights pointing at the sky).
@Truelight54 I understand your concern. As long as you stay within the weight limits of your vehicle, the hitch, and the motorcycle carrier, everything should stay safe. The steel shank and anti-tilt device that are incorporated into this particular carrier prevent any dangerous sway or shifting of the motorcycles while they are being transported.
Can this be used on a shorter wheelbase vehical such as a jeep?
