I'd be interested to see what you'd do for a futuristic motorhome along the lines of of some of these, without the burden of freight hauling capability. Sort of post-apocalyptic but for now, with high tech security, recharging systems, and awesome living environs.
These are really cool as they stand, but think paranoid lottery winner.
nice designs....you'd be helping things along in a much greater way if you could attend to fixing the drag at the back end of the trailer though. The front only needs to be blunted. All that styling won't increase efficiency much
Thanks for the view and the input. Problem with the rear is the doors opening and the overall length restrictions for trailers as well as the overall rig. A tapered rear would also effect intermodal transportation/ stackability. Enclosed car carriers have a large rear door that could be used. Notice that there are very few cab over rigs anymore. This is due to weight distribution. Manufacturers can't over load the front axle any more. There are lots of restrictions in designing a rig.
Thanks! I am a practical designer.....no flying trucks! Prefer to think of things that are practical and with some degree, able to be built. Thanks again!
