ACtually I make boost around 4-6k RPM. My turbo spools very low. After that vtec also kicks in. Dude, 420whp which is around 460HP. MY car weighs 2800 pounds. My car at the track has pulled low 12's high 11's on LOW boost. Audi RS4 with a good driver hits 12.80's on the 1/4. Ok Yes the Audi RS4 is a better car but face it my turbo s2000 is faster.

Honda makes pretty reliable cars & the cars they make like the S2K, Integra Type R, Civic Type R - Overseas and Canada only and the NSX are very capable track cars. They handle Forced Induction very reliably, if done properly of course and their economy cars like the regular Civic, Fit, Accord and their Acura lineup are all nice cars which are very nice for Daily Drivers! You guys need to be open minded and respect the true enthusiasts!!

Comparing the Audi RS4 with any honda is too ridiculous to comprehend. It doesn't matter how well you can tune any Honda, it will never have the build quality, style, or driving experience of a fully tuned german driving machine. Jockdeeznuts, I am sure you have a very nice S2K. But just because you a claimed 420whp, doesn't really mean anything in a Honda considering you don't make any power until you hit VTEC at 6,000rpms.

HOW MUCH of that claimed 420WHP is actually usable? When do you even START to hit boost? 6,000rpm? When do you reach full boost? 8,000rpm and then you 420whp drops down to 100hp during the course of the next 1000rpm?

If it's tuned like most Honda's are, your 420whp isn't really doing much if you only have boost within a 2,500rpm range. So you basically drive a Civic until you hit VVVVVTAAAAC at 6krpms... meaning until you hit 6K rpms, you feel like you're driving with the handbrake engaged.

So a claimed 420hp or not, you really aren't beating the RS4 with 420 hp and 317 lb-ft of torque especially considering the RS4 makes about the same HP/TQ #'s at 4k rpm's then you are at yur peak RPM, couple that with a high-reving 4.2L V8 and Quattro, you are going to lose from a dig and you're going to lose on a highway run.

Hell, you're going to lose on the street, on the drag strip and on the track. Remember, it's not about the power your engine makes, it's all about the power that your car makes AND can actually USE!!!

Also, unless you're running Drag Radials, you are having a very hard time putting down 420 RWHP. Where as the RS4 has NO ISSUES putting down it's power to the ground. Now while the RS4 has the advantage from a dig, you have the advantage from the roll... TBC.

because you just start to make your power when the RS4's motor is at a disadvantage because of drivetrain loss to the AWD and weight. BUT,alas, the RS4 is getting going to put a whooping on your S2K, ESPECIALLY on a track.

You have a nice car dude. Trust me, I owned an S2K for about 3 months but quickly sold it because I just couldn't deal with not making more power then a Honda Fit until I was at highway speeds.
