This phones is good for being a cheap phone. It does what it's meant to do well: text message. If you want a messaging phone without the fancy stuff I'd recommend the LG Rumor 2, but you can get the Wildcard dirt scheap on EBay or Amazon if you prefer.

On the outer screen it is soooo much better than the original enV. However on the inmside there is a huge disappointement. No flash on the camera, a small screeen inside and I have never used the keyboard but it looks absolutally horrible.

I bought this phone, and WOW did it suck! The camera's CRAP! But yet again, this IS a phone for people on a budget, and I WAS on a tight budget; mines was prepaid, got it for about 100. NOW I have the LG Xenon, SO MUCH BETTER (it has some of its own cons as well, don't get me wrong!) Too bad I don't have a data plan =/

Why are people SO impressed by these over-priced, tiny pieces of CRAP? All of them do the SAME damn thing, and do it quite poorly. Get a netbook, and a GOOD high-speed (cable or DSL) and a decent router. Then you can begin to actually do something productive online.

You can get wallpaper and tones from Playfone and Jamster. I do. I get them from Playfone.

Cost $10 but if your balance is low it's free!

To do tis you need mobile web though.

Unlimited mobile web.

Then do it.

All the ringers and wallpaper you can stand!

Also I get good connection here in Cincy. All bars and the D for digital logo.

As for sound I set the earpiece volume to high and it's perfect.

i have had it for so long. and its terrible. the screens are both very small, and very low quality. there is no video. virginmobile services are great and very flexible...yes, but the service is terrible. unless youre standing directly next to a cell phone tower, you will have one bar. its very quiet, and virgin mobile only lets you use their ringtones so if you get a sound message...its useless. not a good phone. there are plenty of better phones for the same or less $

@ sonica, the pix come out clear if you are in well-lit conditions and if yu have mastered basic camera skills. Yu can send them 2 yur PC and edit/enhance them there. Phone has NO video capabilities.

No, it doesn't say who it's from. It says "1 New Text Message" then you either choose to ignore or go to inbox. it'll tell you who its from when u opent it

You go to my pictures,view and click "send" send it to your PC's e-mail inbox. Go to your inbox to view or right click and save to "my pictures" folder. Be aware that it will be charged as a message. You can't synch with this phone, no way, no how...

The screen shots don't come out all that well so it would not be practical for me to do. There needs to be more info on the browser,you just have to start using it to figure it out. The camera is pretty easy, just adjust the settings and use basic camera skills like: Be in well-lit conditions,put the sun behind you, make sure the lens is clean,hold the camera still and let the auto-focus work. You can use windows photo manager to enhance them :u

Thanks,20mb is fine for me with this phone. It can't do video or complex d/l's. I haven't totally explored the web with this phone because of its limitations. I use my PC for serious work. Yes, it has an address bar to enter text and it can copy text. You can set it for text only to conserve data usage so your mb's last longer.

20MB data limit is terrible for serious web surfing. Also, you should have mentioned if the browser limits surfing to certain sites? In other words, is there an address bar for entering any URL?

Yeah, the battery life isn't something to write home about because there are always 2 screens active when using. You will need to keep the charger nearby. I can go 1-2 days between charges, maybe more. This phone is the replacement for the SB.
