It means that the trick is automatically set up for the trick when you set it down. It doesn't involve gimmick cards either. Self-working also means that you don't have to do anything After the preparations Before the trick. Sorry if it didn't make any sense. Hope it helped.

Because the laying down of the 16 cards is anything but self-working! Making it not viewable that youre taking sometimes card of the top and sometimes of the buttom is not for beginners!

This is a variation of a trick that Lennart green does, though when he does it u get 4 queens, then 8 of the cards turns red, other side black, then only picture cards and then only cards thats prime number, evertyhing is exactly the same except the shuffle in the beginning ;)

It's so hard to pinpoint who exactly made it, and everything is shared by everyone. Chances are a simple trick like this can't be narrowed down to one guy.
