Well I would try some but I can't find it where I live (in Virginia). I've been to five local grocery stores, I've even been to a specialty beer store that sells over 300 imported beers and ciders including several English ciders but no one here has it.

Righto. I am surprised. Here goes then, it is essentially alcholoic apple juice. It has a very clean taste and can be dry or sweet. A good drink all in all. The mass-produced stuff iss pretty generic but the REAL SCRUMPY is as various as wine. It is different each year, and in each orchard. The best stuff is at room temperature from a wooden cask. It will propb be flat, opaque, warm and have bits in it - that's scrumpy!. Go to dorset or somerset in UK, the pays de cidre in France for the best!
