Bob Boyce uses a TOROID. Another great thing to do is ionize the hydrogen you DO produce, as well as the intake gases using LEDs and resonant cavities, but I don't know the exact dimensions.

You don't need a toroid to make hydrogen.

yes you do - it helps magnificently in holding back current, while using voltage potential to do the electrolytic work.

My mouth dropped when I saw you have an automated winding device. Lucky! I wound my secondaries already and used a car feeler gauge for precision. It took six hours, nuthin a little music and smoke won't help for passing the time. Mine looks great and I can wait to finish drilling plates so I can calculate resistance and the required windings for my primaries. Best of luck to you!
