The original music was far better, maybe not here, but while actually on the ride itself. I have ridden Space Mountain 43 times in its original form, but just 2 times since Mission 2. Another great ride that Disney have ruined. I am all for improvements, but the new soundtrack is not one of them.

@carnaval43 1 was perfect theming with Discoveryland and better music. Mission 2 is just...ruined

@carnaval43 2 new inversions added in the ride, new scenery and special effects, different music while you're ridding and....way more cool !!!!!

I love some of the new effects, like the vortex near the end.

Oh, I didn't mean to sound like it's a bad thing. The music is very beautiful (John William's music and this music as well). But it just reminds me so much of E.T. that you almost won't guess this is a Disney attraction. It could almost have been the E.T. ride in Universal Studios as well ;)

The music was NOT composed by John Williams but by Steven Bramson, but is deliberately made to sound like a John WIlliams score :-)

The name is not Space Mountain Mission 1, its real name is Space Mountain: De la Terre a la Lune or Space Mountain: From the Earth to The Moon
