Your graphics card may not like some of the higher end enhancements (like x16 AF, AA, 1080p, pixel shader) But otherwise it will greatly depend on your CPU. Generally, a more recent AMD or Intel DualCore or higher at about 3.5Ghz will make most things playable.

Note To Everyone, its only running slow because he has a duel core processer and dolphen uses both of them. The screen recording software is sharing the cores and therefore slowing down the game. You can run dolphin full speed with his specs.

@iNexXxuS i was actually directing it to anyone who had an iso link. i'm all set now, i found one already and i was able to finish the game. and yes i own a wii and the game but it stopped reading disks, even when i use the wii disk cleaner and i can't afford a new wii right now and i wanted to finish the game. my disk drive doesn't let me copy iso files, even with special programs so i needed a download.

@kght222 that would work? i didn't think dvd drives could read iso files. i tried an iso extractor some time back but it kept saying that there was no disk inserted. it don't matter now any ways. i got an iso now and i was able to transfer my save file to dolphin and finish the game.

@skirovince it's sad how many people are totally oblivious about what emulators are. he uses a program called dolphin to play the mario galaxy iso file on his computer. it's very real, i have it on my computer. this can be done with any game system. theres project 64 for n64 games, theres cdi emulator for cdi games and theres dolphin for gamecube and wii. read the description before you make an ass of yourself next time.

oh you're using a real wii remote. sorry dude, my bad. to be able to point at the screen you can do 1 of 3 things. Use your wii sensor bar, just make sure your wii is next to your pc. Get a wireless sensor bar to use if your wii is to far away (they cost like $15). Or finally you can do this cool trick i used for a while. Use two candles as your sensor bar. Point the wii remote at the two candles (when lit) and hey presto it should work.

your cpu has great potential and if you push it to around 3.5Ghz then you will most definitely get full speed.

well, emulation is one of those things that isn't going to take much advantage of a core i7's ability to process 8 threads at once, so what you need is clock speed, rather than multiple cores. If you overclocked your processor to 3Ghz or higher you would get great results.

it should work, but depending on your graphics card it may or may not run all that well. I would suggest moving your clock speed to about 3.2Ghz to get good speed, but thats up to you.

In this case, dolphin lets you emulate Wii and Gamecube games un full high definition, something that the Wii and Gamecube can't do. That's a huge plus.

you are partially correct. Any pc that is worth around $1500 AUD should be able to run some games at full speed in HD providing that you have a CPU overclocked to 3.5/4.0Ghz.

If that is beastly in your eye's ok, i guess you need a pc as such, but to me something that tops $4000 is EPIC in my eyes.

True, it doesn't need to be as amazing as I made it sound, but unless you have a gaming PC on hand, this isn't very good considering the only real pro is HD, and even then as some games aren't fully emulated (I think TP still lacks sound, and the transparency problems here) it would probably be better just to buy a wii, since it only really costs around a fifth of a pc needed to run these comfortably. Though sometime when the emulator has more updates, it will be great to run a big great HD wii.

That game runs MUCH better on the newer SVN of dolphin. I get 45-60FPS in game. The problem is that the music cuts out (this bug plagues a LOT of other games in wii and gamecube emulation alike)

How did you record it.

so you take a wii game, put into your pc and the game puts files in it, then you take it out, put a another blank cd( that have not recorded anything) in the computer, then you burn the files into the blank cd. that's how it works right?? i think you can do the same thing to others execpt gamecube cds. if not, tell me
