I think Gerald demonstrates some of the most advanced technical facility I have ever seen in a Saxophonist. However, the ideas are quite repetitive at times. I would like to hear him on a straight bepop classic to see what hes truly made of.

@thegreatoz7 then I would advise you to listen to Gerald Albright's "Live at Birdland West." He is a great Bop player. But don't put bebop playing style on a pedestal. Coming from a bop player/listener myself, I hear repetitive ideas and void of Blues in this style also :) Thanks for watching.
