Hey Pj, have you got 8 degrees of right deflection built in mechanically? In rate mode and at centre stick you should have 8 degrees of right deflection. Just adjust the tail guide rod until you have this. Should help your gyro quite a bit in HH mode. Just make sure you set your endpoints again on the gyro once you have adjust the rod.
Hey question.. Do you know the difference between rate and heading hold.. gyro was holdin fine until u turned nose wrong way.. rate mode is designed to "follw the nose.. as it does not lock .. heading hold is that holds direction until you turn it and locks that direction you usin the dx6i right? anything below 50 % in the gyro is rate 51 and above is HH
@MrDazhim72 yes i know the diff and i need a better gyro cause in head lock mode the tail hunts way to much , but why do you have a way to fix that and is it easy to fix help me please
lol man YOU happened.. lol like first told u .. stop talkin so much concentrate.. that gyro(gp750) i believe is FINE i have it on a protos 500 a blade 400 and all work fine.. I 'm not tryna down you but help you .glad u got it back in the air sawe that vid but looked like this one was all you bud.. if you keep this up you will b hittin the ground again shortly.. stop tryin to do piros right now
Man the reaction is priceless, I've actually sent this vid to some friends and had them forward it... You would think someone walked by and farted in your mouth while you were yawning lol. Btw, got my trex450 up and going. Ill try and shoot some vid.
@pj1980123 Hope I didn't offend you... but I've had similar reactions when I've broken stuff. Well, I maidened my T-Rex 450 this morning! I tried to shoot video by myself, but I totally missed and filmed the ground most of the time. Crazy how something so big can fly like a stable little mCPx. I actually took my hand of the right stick a few time. I didn't have the balls to fly forward this morning as my ass was far too puckered to let me do it, but a few more hover sessions and I'll do it!
@apodacainc no bro its all good. its my bad i crashed everybody crash's some times i was talking to much lol, well good for you with the flight, just relax and small movements with the sticks once you get it you will just get how to fly try taking her to A OPEN SPACE where theres little to no people around be safe dont get your self or any body hit with that 450 peace bro
@pj1980123 I hovered it again (and now I see why you did several videos of just hovering). I know I know how to fly it, but I just need to commit to moving the stick forward. I was hesitant with the tiny mcpx and finally I just told myself, I KNOW HOW TO DO THIS. I jammed the stick forward and started doing big stall turns and by the next day was doing banked turns. You have to admit, there is ballsy and crazy (especially to us who are new to this) about flying $500+ bucks in the air!
in this hobby you halve to realize any thing can fail at any time even if it is brand new. i had a part break on my 550 tail in flight on the 3rd trip to the field and i had to auto down, i bought a beefed up after market tail part so it wont happen again.
the 250 is very fineky and if the smallest thing is not set up right i am thinkin your belt was too loose and slipped or the belt was too tight and broke... i see you were able to spin the tail baldes and the main blades did not move
@thefirstofmykind k bro thanks but i know the gyro is shit im putting a futaba 520 in both my t-rex's the tail hunts way to much with this 250 and a pro told me its the gryo
@pj1980123 cool dude, but you may want to tell that pro to check his settings, i know the gyro is not that perfect but if you set it up properly it wil hold just fine for sportflying and lite 3d.
looks like a just a good old lost of orientation. those 250 go very quickly down if you just let it go for a second. you keep saying a new gyro a new gyro, the gyro it comes with is fine! it holds great! you lost orientation, If you put it slow motion you see it :) is ok though, i actually wanted to tell you to take it easy with your helis, you are very reckless sometimes hehe you talk and stuff during flight your busy with lots of things exept consentrating on your heli 100%. take it easy man
@thefirstofmykind i like to talk bro cant help it i know i should not but i cant help it bro thanks for all the help man its nice to have friends on her helping me out thanks again bro
Also once you plug the battery in, you should let the heli sit for a few seconds and not touch it. The gyro needs a few seconds to initialize itself. Check your tail servo also
Your tail pitch slider might have not been as smooth as it should be. It might have binded a bit. That or your gyro just gave up. Since it spun C-clockwise, that tells you that the tail didnt produce enough thrust. One more thing it could have been was your belt being too loose so your tail pulley was skipping teeth. I hope you get her back up there soon!
