People call the "pit bull" the "american stafishire" because most people do not know what that means and it keeps people from knowing it is in reality a pit bull. As soon as people hear the name "pit bull" in america, their attitude totally changes and they get afraid of the dog. Yes, pit bulls originally came from england and so did the name "pit bull". It was bred in england several hundred years ago.

this breed freaks me out i recently bought a red nose hes 6 months now and i can tell you they are like no other dog breed the personality is so strong its like hes almost human they are the smartes breed cant understand why they would want to wipe this breed out the love that he shows to ppl is incredible especialy kids all he wants to do is be with me i socialise him as offten as i can dog classes this breed is one that should stay

@dabul2003 The reason they mention the Red nose is, it's believed that Irish men brought pitbulls from england back to ireland and then through selective breeding they produced a Strain which was very game and hardy, mainly Reds with Red noses, the breed wil always be an English breed but the Red nose strain was supposedly produced by the irish then irish immigrants went to America taking Pitbulls of various colours with them and the breed became popular there also.
@dabul2003 In the middle of the XIX century, there was a family of pit dogs in Ireland that were known as the "Old Family." At that time, all the strains were closely inbred. Closed genetic pool of that type, were likely to have a slide toward the recessive traits, because the dominants, once discarded, were never recaptured. Since red is recessive to all colors but white, the "Old Family" eventually became the "Old Family Reds." When the dogs began coming to America, "From Wikipedia
@photographerireland most ppl dont know this and they just thnk its some different dog... then why isnt it called a irish pit bull and its called an american pit bull?
I piss a lot of Americans off by reminding them these are an English breed brought there by Irish Immigrants etc, therefore should be referred to as Pitbulls NOT American Pitbulls, BUT leaving that aside, you've done fantastic work, your dogs are everything a good Pitbull should be, Healthy, Athletic, we socialised, fine specimens of the best dog on the planet, your photograpic record of them is also great, keep up the good work.
@photographerireland FYI it is the AMERICAN PITBULL TERRIER because the original pitbulls are no longer around. They have been bred out and we have bred them the way we want them today thats why they are the American pitbull... do some research ya the pitbull type dog was first brought from england but that dog was bred out, it was the fighting dog of cordoba.
@4794090605 Original Pitbulls no longer around?? sorry to tell you But you're well wrong, We still have them here and the bloodlines go back many generations, there are still dogs been taken from here to the USA on a regular basis and some being brought back in from the USA for breeding, Right now I know of a litter bred from the best pitbulls on the planet and of 3 pits brought back from the USA this year to Dublin, Your Wrong, So Still Pitbulls and NOT an Amercian breed, your breeding Mutts
@photographerireland eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee it's an american pit bull terrier. How is it not an american breed? Even if you breed a doberman in american it's still a german breed.
@DTS1300 hahaha, the Americans re-named it American Pitbull Terrier, it was introduced to america by immigrants from Ireland who left Ireland in search of work in England, where they also found the PitBull, many saved and then went onto america taking their PITBULLS with them, the breed became very popular there over time, but even if the breed is there over 100 years it's still an English breed,
@photographerireland guess you're the only person who thinks this way. guess the irish should have put their stamp on it so us americans would believe the one irish nut job who claims it's not an american dog. Guess all those immigrants should have stayed in ireland with their pit bulls so we couldn't have any.
@DTS1300 ok know it all, where did it originate? what part of the USA would we find Staffordshire? (staffordshire terrier) for example? the breed was bred smaller and faster by crossing bulldogs with terriers for fighting dog on dog when bloodsports such as bull baiting where banned in England.
anyone with a basic knowlege of the breed knows it's history, that obviously excludes you.
@photographerireland all read here is "look at me I'm an a hole from Ireland who wants to make americans mad cause I think they should recognize a breed that couldn't cut it so americans made it better."All ireland is good for is whiskey. If they're dogs were worth it then americans wouldn't have changed the dog to make it better.sorry, even if I didn't know the history you can look all over the internet and books and see that while the fighting terriers came from over seas america perfected it.
@DTS1300 ohh your a definate no nothing, made it better?? your balls, the best proper pitbulls are still bred here, big fat mutts with cropped ears are not improvements, a good game dog would wreck anyone of them in minutes, and if your crossing pitbulls to get big heavy looking dogs they are no longer pitbulls, their bandogs, cross breeds,
@DTS1300 Read the history of the breed moron, and if all the irish stayed in ireland your country still wouldn't be built yet, good hard working men from here did most of the work there, thats why there are over 40 million americans with irish ancestory, you'd hardly know the history of the pitbull if you don't know the history of your own country, now shut up before you make yourself look more retarded.
@photographerireland hahhahahahahaha sounds good nut bag. I have read the history very thoroughly and in all my reading it's still called the american pit bull terrier. The staffy and the bull terrier came from england as well as other terriers but they created a specific breed in american known as the apbt. Just cause you're an angry irishman who wants to act like he knows more then americans doesn't change it's an american breed. The irish version couldn't cut it in the states.
@DTS1300 you thick wanker, you just contrdicted your first comment, first you said i was wrong & i must be the only one to think the irish took pitbulls to america from england, but now your saying the irish version couldn't cut it in the states?? hahahaha
So There Was an Irish Version???? listen ya prick, there's pitbulls in Ireland right now that cost £1000uk just for a stud fee & their pups often get taken to america, why do you think thats happening?? because their the best tit head
@photographerireland americans took fighting terriers from europe and created the american pit bull terrier. how are you not understanding this? the pit bulls in ireland are probably taken from the champions of america seeing as how there are no irish pit bulls. I like how you reference the pound too seeing as how the euro is tanking from the irish.
@DTS1300 I just posted the history of the breed for you, where it clearly says the irish brought the breed there, you first said i was the only one who thought that, then said the irish version couldn't cut it there haha, now americans took fighting terriers from europe and created the american pitbull?? I referenced the pound because we use both pounds and euros you dumb fuck, Northern Ireland?? hellooooo, the fee in euro would be 1,200, it depends on what your paying with.
@photographerireland whatever dude. You're a bitter dude living in ireland and nothing I can say is gonna change the way you think so I really don't care anymore. Go get a guiness and a shot of jameson and calm down.
@DTS1300 I'm not bitter, i backed my comments up with the info, unlike you did, plus i forgot to mention, im 47, bought by first pair of dog at 17, still keep a red dog which you can see in my pic, 30 years experience in the breed and learned from much older men in the breed, another famous Derry man Seamus McNutt an authority of the breed, is in his 70s and still active in judging and writing about them in books, hehe i'll take a pass on the guinness and jameson
@photographerireland 47 and you troll youtube and pick fights about pit bulls to "piss off americans." probably should re-evaluate your life. dude I don't care anymore. go talk to your buddy about pit bulls and make sure to mention how you got in an internet argument with some random dude from the states. i'm sure they will be impressed.
@DTS1300 lol, i noticed you changed your tune, no longer trying to say i was wrong about the history of the breed, & I didn't pick a fight with you, you choose to comment at me first telling me i was wrong, yes 47 with a lot more brains than you, remember it's people my age who supply people your age with your food, heat, and internet connections so go to bed and be a good boy, byeeee
@photographerireland Your post I was commenting on: Right now I know of a litter bred from the best pitbulls on the planet and of 3 pits brought back from the USA this year to Dublin, Your Wrong, So Still Pitbulls and NOT an Amercian breed, your breeding Mutts
@DTS1300 My original post to you: eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee it's an american pit bull terrier. How is it not an american breed? Even if you breed a doberman in american it's still a german breed. At what point in my original post did I say you were wrong or change my tune?
@DTS1300 Yes brought back, the irish dogs are being traded to and from there regularly, with here being a rabies free zone its easy to get a dog out to there, but it takes 6 months and a lot of money for quarrantine etc to bring one back in, it's done to keep breeding the perticular strains that these dogs are producing but just because a pup from a litter is brought back in doesent mean it's an american breed, if it's parents were bred in ireland it's still a pitbull > English Breed
@photographerireland The post I made before saying that fight dogs did come from europe: guess you're the only person who thinks this way. guess the irish should have put their stamp on it so us americans would believe the one irish nut job who claims it's not an american dog. Guess all those immigrants should have stayed in ireland with their pit bulls so we couldn't have any.
@photographerireland I'm failing to see where I told you you were wrong about fight dogs come from europe. What I said and what all the things I have read said is that americans took the traits from these dogs that they liked, then bred them to have traits they wanted and then created a new bred called the american pit bull terrier. I never once changed my tune. Never told you were "wrong". You're just a bitter old mick who needs to try and act superior to people.
@DTS1300 Let me correct you because you obviously have no memory or you change it to suit as you go, you first tried to tell me you's (americans) bred the pitbull using terriers imported from europe, which is total bullshit, pitbulls taken to the US by irish immigrants were already a very well bred animal.
I asked you to supply proof of your version of how the breed came to be & you couldn't after i posted named dogs & IKC numbers from here that were taken there and used to breed more.
@photographerireland My original post to you: eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee it's an american pit bull terrier. How is it not an american breed? Even if you breed a doberman in american it's still a german breed. At what point in my original post did I say you were wrong or change my tune?
@DTS1300 says the american when its a well known fact that deed pole name changes in america are most commonly from european names to irish or scottish names because you all love to pretend to be irish and send the ira money so drop the guiness comments and go drink that budweiser pond water you all love oh yeh and google irish staffy it looks like a pitbull dosent it? no matter what you "call" it the breed origionates from ireland and england and thats wher it comes from
@photographerireland its ok mate i personaly think pits should be renamed and drop the american part in the name the same as german sheppards wher renamed alsation because americans have claimed the dog as their own even though yanks are ruining the breed with that 10 stone hippo bully breed crap at least over here a bully wouldnt class as a pitbull it would class as a bandog or bully because we stay true to the breed and what it should be
@youvegotmoobs I agree, it's amazing how many here actually believe the breed originated in the USA even though if they go back far enough in the research you can actually find the names of the very first owners and breeders and when the dogs arrived in the USA from Ireland, I love bullterriers, I've personally kept them for 30 years, my grandfather had them, now my sons and nephews have them, I think Pitbull should remain the name, thats what it is and it's origin is England.
@DTS1300 Here's more info for you taken from an American website>> Welcome to A Small But Select Kennel, In the heart of Northern Texas.
The cornerstone sire of the Dublin Red Strain was Willie Delaney's dog "Brindle Devil" and the foundation dam owned by my uncles friend Eddie Byrnes red bitch, it was two puppies from this mating went to the USA.
The two key dogs to start the Dublin Red Line in the USA
Shanty of Dublin - IKC 89028 and Arrogant Devil - IKC-88853 IKC = Irish Kennel Club
@DTS1300 i can't post links here but the following is copied and pasted from an american website >> Story of the Old Family Reds
Written by Richard F. Stratton
* Appeared in the January-February, 1975 issue of Bloodlines Journal.
No one really knows when these dogs first came to this country, but the great breeder William J. Lightner once told me that his grandfather raised them before the Civil War.
The most famous importations were from Ireland, and were generally made by the Irish.
@DTS1300 Is that a fact? the Irish and Scottish immigrants carved the Carolina's out of the wilderness, the Irish built your railroads along with black slaves, the Irish built most of Newyork and were the majority of the policemen and firemen there, your governement caused poverty by screwing the people and lining their own pockets, and that poverty affected all the nationalities there, Whats your nationality? don't say american unless your a native indian?
@DTS1300 Ireland was much better off when it wasn't using the euro, the european countries are making a disaster of Ireland, thats the real problem.
You were born in america? so what, where are your parents or grand parents from? America is a melting pot of decendants of irish, italian, scottish, african etc, all decendant from immigrants or slaves, you may have american nationality but if your not Cherokee, Cheyenne, Navajo etc you're just the same as the irish immigrants?
@DTS1300 Ah sure they say the Irish are crazy everywhere, but They definately know what their talking about when it comes to Dog, Horses, and just about every other animal man has used for work or food lol, The best Race Horses in the world are Irish bred, Even Queen Elizabeth keeps Irish bred horses, and we already know Ireland is still producing top Pitbulls, the decendants of which have reached every part of the globe since ?? I have a nice life already, take care.
@DTS1300 In the middle of the XIX century, there was a family of pit dogs in Ireland that were known as the "Old Family." At that time, all the strains were closely inbred. Closed genetic pool of that type, were likely to have a slide toward the recessive traits, because the dominants, once discarded, were never recaptured. Since red is recessive to all colors but white, the "Old Family" eventually became the "Old Family Reds." When the dogs began coming to America, "From Wikipedia"
@photographerireland dude I know all about the old family reds. why all these dummies think "red nose" makes a difference. Again the irish brought a dog that had a nice color and americans created beautiful red coated american pit bull terriers. I guess the irish are good for whiskey and red coated terriers that americans mixed to created red coated american pit bull terriers. Thank you for that
@DTS1300 Obviously you don't know, your first comment towards me stated that i was totally wrong about the history, now i have copied and pasted the actual info you've changed your story, So was I right or wrong about the breed being brought there by the Irish? you can't continue to breed a breed and change it's origins moron, 100 years ago or 100 years from now the Pitbull will be a dog originally bred in England taken to the USA by Irish, end of story
@photographerireland You should probably go re-read my first comment.I never said anything about you being wrong about the history. You claim pit bulls came from europe. pit fighting dogs came from europe but none with the term"pit bull" in the breed name. Americans took those dogs and made one that fit the characteristics they wanted and made the american pit bull terrier. You can take numerous breeds and fit the characteristics you want to create a new breed.no origins changed,a new one emerged.
@DTS1300 Let me correct you again, I never used the word europe, you did that by claiming the pitbull was created in the USA by breeding bulldogs from terriers imported from europe, I have always clearly stated the breed Originated in ENGLAND and was brought to the USA by irish immigrants, this was many generations before England or Ireland joined the EU, so forget the europe part, im talking about England and Ireland only, Europe is a whole other ball game
i dont know about many people but i have dedicated myself to save pitbulls that are abandon ,stray, close to death etc etc im there when everyone else only see's a deadly animal i wish there could be more people like me and save a pitbull
i love these dogs but many people fear of them and there banned in many places and grounded in certain airlines. With the right training and lovein ,care these dogs can be as soft as a yorshire terrier, sweet as a lab,and protective as a rotweiler. These dogs are born sweet but to iresponsible onwers these dogs get the worst.
i love pits i own one hes one of the best dogs u could ever ask for its a shame he was abused before i found him on the side of the road out in the country but now hes got a real good home with me and my family who loves him to death and he loves us back these are amazing dogs i dont care what anyone says
I was going to be really happy until I saw that the second dog had it's ear cropped :( there is no reason to crop the ears of these dogs. It is not even the breed standard!
@vladonikos1 Actually it's not preferable to crop their ears as breed standard and cropping the ears can cause the dogs ear shape to be concealed, wide ears are not good and it can't be seen with a crop. Cropping is done only because the owner thinks it's cool. It's not required at all and affects their hearing. Also you need to learn how to spell before calling someone stupid okay? Standard, preferable, and choice for your info. Also I'm basing this on the APBT not the American Bully.
@mjfromga89 " Standard, preferable, and choice for your info" so why den all them show dogs got their ears cropped?!cause even real breeders dont pay too much attention to ears shape and size(not even speakin about all dat getto mutts people try to breed demselves)----->here u go talkin bout choise...
personally i do TOO(!) prefer natural( if they r not too wide)ears.
@vladonikos1 Show dogs are bred for looks only. I'm speaking for the welfare of the animals. Dogs have ears and tails naturally so whether it's preferable or not, I don't like it or agree with it. apbtconformation. com / precutmatrix _ 0000. jpg That dogs ears are wrong for the breed but when cropped it could not be seen. Cropping should not be allowed in shows but sadly it is....
@mjfromga89 aite, gurl:)tired of this discussion---> who gives a shit bout ur or mine opinions here? u know the answer urself...
i got 3 pitts.all ukc and apbr registered. girl is purple ribbon and she got the title w her ears being regular , just like my other 2 dogs':) so::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::I'M W U
@vladonikos1 You're right. Our opinions will not reach anyone. I've had pure bred pit bulls in the past and they all had natural ears. I will take solace in the fact that at least there are people left who like dogs the natural way they're supposed to look. As long as the dogs are well cared for, cropping is not the HUGE issue anyways. have a nice day :)
@mjfromga89 And yeah, people been cropping dem poor ears for almost a century now, so they couldnt and didnt really pay attention to dat ear shape( watchin it be not too wide)-jus cropin it
Nice pits and i can tell u love them alot... Drago is big... If u get the chance can u check out my pit and let me know wht u think? Its labe rednose with show style crop
It's people like you that make it okay to be human, and make it okay for a dog that is so misunderstood to be shown the way they really are. Beautful dogs, and beautiful owners. I love happy families!
You dont know what you are saying.. Pitbulls are great dogs. I have a pitbull. Yes, attacks have happened from pitbulls, but if somebody doesnt know how to raise or train his dog then its the owners responsibillity. This vid is great.! I Adored the second dog, his eyes are beautiful! Well done :)
I like the way these dogs look and the size is correct. They remind me of the reds from central Fl. I wish more people would breed for correctness before pits are ruined permanently.
i have a red nose pitt bull and she is awesome, she has never bit any one, think i saved her, because the guy i bought her off of was training her to fight, but i am glad i got her, because she is one in a million.love her
Beautiful dogs- Beautiful colors and coats. Great shot of the red one in the leaves- People who don't have one just don't understand the breed. Reminds my of my beautiful girl- Bailey struck by a car 3 years ago. God I still grieve for that dog
São otimos cães, lindos...são vitimas de preconceitos, assim como já foram outroas raças mas toda pessoa que tem um cão desses sabe o como é um otimo cão ...EU AMO PIT BULLS/I LOVE PIT BULL'S
Horrible dogs. PUT THEM ALL DOWN!! THEY'RE BANNED IN AUSTRALIA FOR A REASON. THEY BRUTALLY ATTACK YOUNG BABIES, YOUNG WOMEN AND MEN, THEIR OWN OWNERS AFTER THREE YEARS.
@sabdow you know nothing about this breed, id love to see the extinction of brainless people that have an opinion about things they know nothing about- i hope you get attacked by a pack of rabid poodiles!!
@sabdow best dogs out there, you should be put down, for being ignorant, and since your parents created you they should be put down, all your family line should be put down.
@ilikewatching11 What about two first two people on earth? Should they also be put down? Isn't that what you really mean? So, who's more ignorant now?
@ilikewatching11 hahahahahahahah... i can tell uve never owend a pitt ... they are deffinetly one of the strongest dogs so obviously thugs and low lifes are gonna use them for bad things.... i know if you had smart parents theyd tell you a dog is as good as its owner.... they are deff one of the best breeds and illl put your ass down if u reply something stupid again
@ilikewatching11 fuck you, you stupid bastard maybe people shouldn't be so ignorant & let there kids go in other people's yard some are mean yeah but lets see what your pussy fightin dog can do you know when a pit is actually good they fight till the death b/c their so loyal.
@ilikewatching11 fuck you, you stupid bastard maybe people shouldn't be so ignorant & let there kids go in other people's yard some are mean yeah but lets see what your pussy fightin dog can do you know when a pit is actually good they fight till the death b/c their so loyal. wtf is a small dog gonna do?
ok first off theres no suck thing as full red noses, second no one knows who exactly bred the first red nose dogs, third thing is the pit bull was created in uk it just adopted the name american pit bull terrier, any questions feel free to ask

The staffy and the bull terrier came from england as well as other terriers but they created a specific breed in american known as the apbt. Just cause you're an angry irishman who wants to act like he knows more then americans doesn't change it's an american breed. The irish version couldn't cut it in the states.
DTS1300 2 months ago
@DTS1300 you thick wanker, you just contrdicted your first comment, first you said i was wrong & i must be the only one to think the irish took pitbulls to america from england, but now your saying the irish version couldn't cut it in the states?? hahahaha
So There Was an Irish Version???? listen ya prick, there's pitbulls in Ireland right now that cost £1000uk just for a stud fee & their pups often get taken to america, why do you think thats happening?? because their the best tit head
photographerireland 2 months ago
@photographerireland americans took fighting terriers from europe and created the american pit bull terrier. how are you not understanding this? the pit bulls in ireland are probably taken from the champions of america seeing as how there are no irish pit bulls. I like how you reference the pound too seeing as how the euro is tanking from the irish.
P.S.- You mad brah?
DTS1300 2 months ago
@DTS1300 I just posted the history of the breed for you, where it clearly says the irish brought the breed there, you first said i was the only one who thought that, then said the irish version couldn't cut it there haha, now americans took fighting terriers from europe and created the american pitbull?? I referenced the pound because we use both pounds and euros you dumb fuck, Northern Ireland?? hellooooo, the fee in euro would be 1,200, it depends on what your paying with.
photographerireland 2 months ago
@photographerireland whatever dude. You're a bitter dude living in ireland and nothing I can say is gonna change the way you think so I really don't care anymore. Go get a guiness and a shot of jameson and calm down.
DTS1300 2 months ago
@DTS1300 I'm not bitter, i backed my comments up with the info, unlike you did, plus i forgot to mention, im 47, bought by first pair of dog at 17, still keep a red dog which you can see in my pic, 30 years experience in the breed and learned from much older men in the breed, another famous Derry man Seamus McNutt an authority of the breed, is in his 70s and still active in judging and writing about them in books, hehe i'll take a pass on the guinness and jameson
photographerireland 2 months ago
@photographerireland 47 and you troll youtube and pick fights about pit bulls to "piss off americans." probably should re-evaluate your life. dude I don't care anymore. go talk to your buddy about pit bulls and make sure to mention how you got in an internet argument with some random dude from the states. i'm sure they will be impressed.
DTS1300 2 months ago

DTS1300 1 month ago
@DTS1300 Yes brought back, the irish dogs are being traded to and from there regularly, with here being a rabies free zone its easy to get a dog out to there, but it takes 6 months and a lot of money for quarrantine etc to bring one back in, it's done to keep breeding the perticular strains that these dogs are producing but just because a pup from a litter is brought back in doesent mean it's an american breed, if it's parents were bred in ireland it's still a pitbull > English Breed
photographerireland 1 month ago
This has been flagged as spam show
@photographerireland The post I made before saying that fight dogs did come from europe: guess you're the only person who thinks this way. guess the irish should have put their stamp on it so us americans would believe the one irish nut job who claims it's not an american dog. Guess all those immigrants should have stayed in ireland with their pit bulls so we couldn't have any.
DTS1300 1 month ago
@photographerireland I'm failing to see where I told you you were wrong about fight dogs come from europe. What I said and what all the things I have read said is that americans took the traits from these dogs that they liked, then bred them to have traits they wanted and then created a new bred called the american pit bull terrier. I never once changed my tune. Never told you were "wrong". You're just a bitter old mick who needs to try and act superior to people.
DTS1300 1 month ago
@DTS1300 Let me correct you because you obviously have no memory or you change it to suit as you go, you first tried to tell me you's (americans) bred the pitbull using terriers imported from europe, which is total bullshit, pitbulls taken to the US by irish immigrants were already a very well bred animal.
I asked you to supply proof of your version of how the breed came to be & you couldn't after i posted named dogs & IKC numbers from here that were taken there and used to breed more.

@DTS1300 says the american when its a well known fact that deed pole name changes in america are most commonly from european names to irish or scottish names because you all love to pretend to be irish and send the ira money so drop the guiness comments and go drink that budweiser pond water you all love oh yeh and google irish staffy it looks like a pitbull dosent it? no matter what you "call" it the breed origionates from ireland and england and thats wher it comes from
youvegotmoobs 1 month ago
@youvegotmoobs Good man, i finally have someone else who knows what he's talking about to set the record straight on here.
photographerireland 1 month ago
@photographerireland its ok mate i personaly think pits should be renamed and drop the american part in the name the same as german sheppards wher renamed alsation because americans have claimed the dog as their own even though yanks are ruining the breed with that 10 stone hippo bully breed crap at least over here a bully wouldnt class as a pitbull it would class as a bandog or bully because we stay true to the breed and what it should be
youvegotmoobs 1 month ago

The most famous importations were from Ireland, and were generally made by the Irish.
photographerireland 2 months ago
@photographerireland the irish brought a lot of stuff here including too many kids and poverty.
DTS1300 2 months ago
@DTS1300 Is that a fact? the Irish and Scottish immigrants carved the Carolina's out of the wilderness, the Irish built your railroads along with black slaves, the Irish built most of Newyork and were the majority of the policemen and firemen there, your governement caused poverty by screwing the people and lining their own pockets, and that poverty affected all the nationalities there, Whats your nationality? don't say american unless your a native indian?
photographerireland 2 months ago
@photographerireland I was born in america so I am american. sorry buddy. funny you talk about our government while ireland is crushing the euro.
DTS1300 2 months ago
@DTS1300 Ireland was much better off when it wasn't using the euro, the european countries are making a disaster of Ireland, thats the real problem.
You were born in america? so what, where are your parents or grand parents from? America is a melting pot of decendants of irish, italian, scottish, african etc, all decendant from immigrants or slaves, you may have american nationality but if your not Cherokee, Cheyenne, Navajo etc you're just the same as the irish immigrants?
photographerireland 1 month ago
@photographerireland wow dude you're fuckin crazy. Have a nice life
DTS1300 1 month ago
@DTS1300 Ah sure they say the Irish are crazy everywhere, but They definately know what their talking about when it comes to Dog, Horses, and just about every other animal man has used for work or food lol, The best Race Horses in the world are Irish bred, Even Queen Elizabeth keeps Irish bred horses, and we already know Ireland is still producing top Pitbulls, the decendants of which have reached every part of the globe since ?? I have a nice life already, take care.
photographerireland 1 month ago
@DTS1300 In the middle of the XIX century, there was a family of pit dogs in Ireland that were known as the "Old Family." At that time, all the strains were closely inbred. Closed genetic pool of that type, were likely to have a slide toward the recessive traits, because the dominants, once discarded, were never recaptured. Since red is recessive to all colors but white, the "Old Family" eventually became the "Old Family Reds." When the dogs began coming to America, "From Wikipedia"
photographerireland 2 months ago
@photographerireland dude I know all about the old family reds. why all these dummies think "red nose" makes a difference. Again the irish brought a dog that had a nice color and americans created beautiful red coated american pit bull terriers. I guess the irish are good for whiskey and red coated terriers that americans mixed to created red coated american pit bull terriers. Thank you for that
DTS1300 2 months ago
@DTS1300 Obviously you don't know, your first comment towards me stated that i was totally wrong about the history, now i have copied and pasted the actual info you've changed your story, So was I right or wrong about the breed being brought there by the Irish? you can't continue to breed a breed and change it's origins moron, 100 years ago or 100 years from now the Pitbull will be a dog originally bred in England taken to the USA by Irish, end of story
photographerireland 2 months ago
@photographerireland You should probably go re-read my first comment.I never said anything about you being wrong about the history. You claim pit bulls came from europe. pit fighting dogs came from europe but none with the term"pit bull" in the breed name. Americans took those dogs and made one that fit the characteristics they wanted and made the american pit bull terrier. You can take numerous breeds and fit the characteristics you want to create a new breed.no origins changed,a new one emerged.
DTS1300 2 months ago
@DTS1300 Let me correct you again, I never used the word europe, you did that by claiming the pitbull was created in the USA by breeding bulldogs from terriers imported from europe, I have always clearly stated the breed Originated in ENGLAND and was brought to the USA by irish immigrants, this was many generations before England or Ireland joined the EU, so forget the europe part, im talking about England and Ireland only, Europe is a whole other ball game

I was going to be really happy until I saw that the second dog had it's ear cropped :( there is no reason to crop the ears of these dogs. It is not even the breed standard!
mjfromga89 9 months ago
@mjfromga89 did u even try to c what the standart is u stupid fuk!!!? IT SAYS EARS CROPPED IS PREFERRABLE BUT NOT NECESSARY!!!!IT'S OWNERS CHOISE!!!
vladonikos1 8 months ago
@vladonikos1 Actually it's not preferable to crop their ears as breed standard and cropping the ears can cause the dogs ear shape to be concealed, wide ears are not good and it can't be seen with a crop. Cropping is done only because the owner thinks it's cool. It's not required at all and affects their hearing. Also you need to learn how to spell before calling someone stupid okay? Standard, preferable, and choice for your info. Also I'm basing this on the APBT not the American Bully.
mjfromga89 8 months ago
@mjfromga89 " Standard, preferable, and choice for your info" so why den all them show dogs got their ears cropped?!cause even real breeders dont pay too much attention to ears shape and size(not even speakin about all dat getto mutts people try to breed demselves)----->here u go talkin bout choise...
personally i do TOO(!) prefer natural( if they r not too wide)ears.
vladonikos1 8 months ago
@vladonikos1 Show dogs are bred for looks only. I'm speaking for the welfare of the animals. Dogs have ears and tails naturally so whether it's preferable or not, I don't like it or agree with it. apbtconformation. com / precutmatrix _ 0000. jpg That dogs ears are wrong for the breed but when cropped it could not be seen. Cropping should not be allowed in shows but sadly it is....
mjfromga89 8 months ago
@mjfromga89 aite, gurl:)tired of this discussion---> who gives a shit bout ur or mine opinions here? u know the answer urself...
i got 3 pitts.all ukc and apbr registered. girl is purple ribbon and she got the title w her ears being regular , just like my other 2 dogs':) so::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::I'M W U
but still nobody gives a damn:( sad
vladonikos1 8 months ago
@vladonikos1 You're right. Our opinions will not reach anyone. I've had pure bred pit bulls in the past and they all had natural ears. I will take solace in the fact that at least there are people left who like dogs the natural way they're supposed to look. As long as the dogs are well cared for, cropping is not the HUGE issue anyways. have a nice day :)
mjfromga89 8 months ago
@mjfromga89 And yeah, people been cropping dem poor ears for almost a century now, so they couldnt and didnt really pay attention to dat ear shape( watchin it be not too wide)-jus cropin it
