  • but thats only if its a 3 man rush

  • Why is the will backer on the strongside when it should be opposite?

  • cool vids man

  • @MrCamaro93 or a 5-2 or a 6-2.

  • thank you for making this video

  • I need help with the sam position and yes i know they are backwards but I line up on the tightend Alot and Im supposed to knock him off his route in pass plays but at the same time i'm told to protect flats and how am i supposed to protect the flats and hit the tightend at the same time before the receivers make there flat routes?? Help please

  • @Pascalsylla Theres only one tight End... Sam is on the other side..

  • What about a blitz?

  • I just got that exact football its nice

  • is there a video on play line backer with a 3-4 offense??

  • @Pascalsylla You sir just made one of the dumbest comments I've ever read.....look at the video, It has 1 tight end on the right side...which would make that the strong side. The will is on the strong side in this video....so please take your own advice and "learn football before you make retarded comments"

  • WTF? Why is the Sam on the Weakside?

    Holy shit...

  • did anyone else notice him hesitate and stutter the whole time

  • @1l0velesbians doese it matter my team runs a 4-3 and we just call them outside and we got 2 inside

  • @StraightEdgeSkaterr if your have 2 insides than your either running a 3-4 or a 4-4

  • HE DONT KNOW FOOTBALL SO 1 PLAYER GUARDS TO PLAYERS WHILE THE MIDDLE LINEBACKER HAS THE QUARTERBACK DONT LISTEN TO THIS IF YOU TRYING TO LEARN FOOTBALL.

  • You know, everything he's saying doesn'thave to be on the screen..I'm not deaf. Now I can't see what he's doing on the board

  • Well I've been taught in every level of football that TE determines the strong side. If it's something like a spread, it's the side with the running back. If it's trips, then the trips side is the strong side.

  • @nigel24thomas No, the sam doesn't always go to the strong side. Depending on what your asking your athletes to do each play. Coaches look at each play as a different task. Boston College, UCLA, and UConn all play this style of 4-3 defense. This guy might not know what he is talking about, but I assure you that the sam and will dont correspond to the TE, they correspond to the coaches strength on play calls. Example: Sam plays the wide side on cover 3, not the TE side. Its all situational.

  • sam nd will r on the wrong side and if this guy knew anything about football, he would call the gaps A B or C gap

  • sam and will are mixed

cuz the TE is on the strong side

  • all you say was wrong..and right together..

the strong side depends on which system the coach is using..

sometimes teh strong side is where the tight end lines up, sometimes it is the wide side of the field, two receiver side, or whatever the coach told you to...

so listen to your coach and do what he says..

    then YOU ARE RIGHT!!!

  • uh im pretty sure strong side lines up against the tight end

  • lol he has the mike and sam on wrong sides

  • lol yeah he does

  • what are spurs in defense, and what are the defensive personels that line up across opposite the slot

  • Wait a minute...this idiot just said that the "S" stood for the strong side linebacker and the "W" was for the weak side linebacker but what i see is the weak side linebacker playing the strong side....this skinny dude is a retard!!!!!!

  • haha yaa I noticed that too

  • hhahah for real

also this guy doesn't teach us anything on how to play the position only what the assignments are

  • theirs is no fixed strong side u dumb fuck

  • bahahaha

  • I'm Middle and Strong Side but my coach hasn't determined which i'm better at yet. =|

  • can a guy who is 5.6 and weighs 165 play line backer

  • yes u can play middle line backer u need to be strong

  • u just described me

  • it really doesn't matter how tall u are it matters about quickness, how smart you are, and how hard u can tackle

  • it would be funny seeing a guy his size play middle linebacker....he has no clue what hes talking about and dosent no that each and every team has diffrent responsibilitys for each position, mike sam will even the rovers. this guys abum

  • i've played middle for a long time. and this guy has no idea what he is talking about.

  • haha I play linebacker (will) and I am blitzing all time :P

  • i play buck and stud

  • nice, I play both sam and will (weakside & strongside )

  • hes a dum ass

the tight end iz on the wrong side

the strong side and the weak side r mixed up

  • LOL, THATS DAVE CHAPELLE TEACHING LOL...Yeah he is WRONG!

  • 'Strong' and 'Weak' just tells you where the TE (or if no TE then most receivers) is. It has nothing to do with what hand the QB throws with.

  • it kinda does. its like the third option. first you determine the strong side by the TE. if you dont have a TE then you check the WR and if you have for example a twins formation you can determine the strong side by the QB`s throwing arm.

  • @SynysterChiron if the ball is in the middle and the offense is in a balanced formation then it could be decided by the qb's throwing hand

  • @SynysterChiron if they are in full balance and the ball is in the middle it does go to the throwing arm of the qb

  • no they arent. strong side would be left cuz quarterbacks are primarily right handed. you always want to get the qb from behind so its ur strong side. plus you put your hero or SS on the right to help out the weak side linebacker. but the weak side linebacker is usually the better of the two outsides

  • well that the first time I have ever heard a Defence explained that way, and i dont agree. Your strong side is your te or slot reciever

  • if they are right handed you wont take them from behind if left side is strong. But it's true, if the QB is right handed left is strong side, because he will throw the ball to his right.

  • WTH?... you always place Sam with the TE.

  • this dude has no clue wtf he's saying

  • haha this is true. i play linebacker it a fun position
