And K.Rool has made appearances since Rare was sold off. He was the main villain of Donkey Kong Jungle Climber, a side scrolling platformer for the ds and he appeared as a playable character in Mario super sluggers on the wii.

I agree. Donkey Kong should have punched him just as soon as he started fighting with Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong. Maybe the reason why Donkey Kong didn't punch him in the beginning was because, he was either too scared of him since his eyes bulged with fear at 0:54 and 2:09 but then at 3:30 he probably tried to act brave. Another reason Donkey Kong didn't punch him earlier was because, the ropes were too tight and he was taking some time to use his strength break the ropes to free himself.

When i was younger and i had played both DKC 1 and 2, I think that i had a tougher time with Kaptain K. Rool rather than King K. Rool. I had such a difficult time following his gun patterens.

Same here.  It took me many hours to try to defeat Kaptain K. Rool but with King K. Rool, I had no problem trying to defeat him since all you have to do is jump on his head as soon as he throws his crown at you. Probably if you could hurt Kaptain K. Rool by jumping on his head, he would probably be easy to defeat just like King K. Rool.

K. Rool is a LOT harder here than he was in the first game. There's so many moves he has and his patterns keep changing. I've lost count on how many times I died against Kaptain K. Rool. The way he was defeated was...kinda dark. Him falling God knows how many stories high and being eaten by sharks! 0_0

Overall a fantastic DK game. One of the best for sure! :D
