  • I think suboxone is much more effective and helpful for short term use, I think you should stay on until you are comfortable but get off asap.

  • Man I wish I felt the same about suboxone, I am on subs now...been on a year and a half and I'm just sick of them! I hate sucking on a nasty pill for 8 mins and I think it only continues the habits the we addicted fall into. I do think it can save your life though.

  • @islamisthewayforme dude your a fucking worthless piece of shit you wouldn't step on an ant you have a fagg user name because your mommy ignored u and no one ever gave a fuck about you in life. Just take like 100 80mg oxys you faggot you wouldn't know an Islamic person if they slapped you with their dick and slot your throat. Sorry no one gives afuck about you, no one will give you attention even for your wanna be tough user name just cause you got your lunch money taken in school you biatch. B

  • i would like to say i was addicted to hydros for 3 yrs, when i started it was a half a pill a day for the first 6 month at the most.

by the end of yr 1 i was up to 2 a day on a bad day, n somewhere between 1 and 1 n 1/2 yrs i moved up to 3 or 4 a day.. by yr 2 i was doing 6 a day.. and tords the end i was doing 10 a day.. to make matters worse i sniffed them and was buying them off the street... you give me hope to make it to 6 months clean my friend thank you for showing me im not alone...

  • stay clean, I'll say prayer 4 you. You come to a point where suboxone dont take the edge off anymore I will be here and can give you some information on how to get some help

  • @blakesreddragon this should have been your first comment...thank you..i will consider your offer.

  • who said anything about money?job? you are far more mentally and spiritually sick than you can possibly know try rereading my first comment again. And I am happy you are no longer using your "drug of choice" but the fact of the matter is, your still on drugs. I have several friends that was addicted to cocaine, heroine, o.c.,meth, and all have stayed clean for as long as you say it takes to "get off" suboxone

  • @blakesreddragon good for your friends...that's fantastic...some people do it that way, some people cant, or dont..whatever. why are you so concerned with my life anyway? tell ya what, when you start paying my bills and feeding my children, THEN i will listen to your " advice "

  • "I have free time now, I can live life, no more searching for drugs!" wow. Search for a power greater than yourself, stop trying to get something for nothing. Your still getting high.

  • @blakesreddragon what are you talking about? who's trying to get something for nothing? you dont know me you assclown, i work for a living and pay my own fucking way in life.

  • @blakesreddragon You have no idea what you are talking about...

  • save your life? Medicate so habitual drug users dont continue to appear in court anymore. I have a easier way, totally free. Give your life to GOD.

  • @blakesreddragon

really dumbass? ill hold a knife to your mothers throat and u can instead of tryin to wrestle it away or plead with me give your life to God...or next time someone needs immediate surgery....believing in God or giving him to yourself is one thing, being a total dumbass is another.

  • @blakesreddragon take your bible thumping elsewhere please. i dont have a problem with anyone who gives their life to GOD or whatever, just dont force it on me. my life, my issues, my time, my choice..NOT YOURS...thanks for playing, now be gone

  • suboxion rules!!! i have kicked H many times with suboxione thank god

  • i have one question for you sir, HOW TO WEAR OFF OF SUBOXONE AFTER ALL????

  • @bistra4982 im assuming you mean ween off right? well, each person is different...im on a very slow, dileberate path....i started at 3 or 4, cant remember to be honest and eventually will get down to a half or quarter and remain there..the doc and i think i'm the type that will probably need it forever..i was a hardline addict...extremeist.....i CANT go back to drugs or i will certainly die

  • Im envious of these people. They look like they can actually eat.Im 6 foot an 170 pounds i just have no appetite, but im still on heroin. But i take suboxone too..My addiction is i still take the suboxone cause id be really sick if i didnt but still need the heroin.Suboxone at 16 mgs doesnt block the heroin at alll..I mean if i dont take my suboxone the heroin just lasts a few hours longer...But i wish the govt would prescribe meth like they subox by doctor..I didnt do dope on methadone.

  • Been on both methadone an suboxone.Im a heroin addict an can say suboxone doesnt block heroin..I think meth is for heroin addicts an sub for pain killer addicts.

  • I was hooked on OC80s opana and roxies but believe or not willpower is all it took for me

  • @TheParkourBegginer that ...my friend...is very admirable and envyable...will power is something i do not posess...if so, i wouldnt be a fatass or an addict...congrats....sincerely

  • @BigVOLdaddy

i support you man, withdrawalin right now sucks lol

  • suboxone is a miracle. shame on the govt for not making it free to everyone but that would end most heroin addiction and the govt wouldnt want that their cartel cronies would lose a lot of money... advances are always controlled by big business and new technologies are not maid available until the powers that be can figure out how to make a ton of money off of it. I mean look at wi fi internet it is everywhere and charging for it is a crime it should be free.

  • @MrLarrylocken It doesnt block the heroin,suboxone..I dont know why it doesnt work for me.It sucks so bad.Methadone worked but i cant do the clinic with my job.So now i gotta waste half my paycheck on heroin..

  • it saved my life 100 percent , don't even wanna think where i would be with out it right now....

  • Today is my 4th day on Suboxone treatment. I was addicted to Oxycodone for 2 years, and it has it's advantages (I have scoliosis, so I'm constantly in pain) in helping people live pain free, but it comes at a price. Your life. My Oxy addiction completely took away my social life and my personality. I just wasn't myself while on Oxycodone. Now that I'm on Suboxone, even though today is just my 4th day with the treatment, my social life, my dignity, my personality, are all back to where I was 100%

  • lol why u got the camera right behind a weed in the beggining lmao

  • does this Dr. take Tenncare or does he charge cash each month? my girlfriend is looking for a new sub dr but we live in chattanooga and have to pay 300$ a month:( if this guy will take tenncare, heck we'll drive to johnson city each month.

  • @bardster111 no sir. as is the case with most, cash only. it sucks, but it is what it is. good luck.

  • ok basically, the once a month suboxone clinc are mostly jokes, in my state of washington you have to have thearpy with it. without you may go one year maybe two...and youll be back in your addiction. also attending AA/NA whatever you like better. is key for success. i know people with 40years of sobriety. i don't know anyone that does not attend AA/NA with that much time. i thank you guy's for my time thanks.

  • @spike93333 thanks for the comment...as for going to na, aa meetings, that's a personal choice...i tried that...did 90 meetings in 90 days after treatment....honestly, the last 80 of those meetings were pure torture..ALL they talk about is drugs and alcohol.....screw that bro, i dont want to hear about drugs and such every day..just reminds me of where ive been and dont want to go back to. i'll stick with my feelings on the matter...to each his own...whatever keeps us out of the circle

  • very nice vid. just curious, why does Dr. O have a public restroom right directly behind his desk in his office?

    thanks for posting this

  • @TherealNoblevision LMAO....ya know, i NEVER noticed that...i dont go to dr o anymore. i see a different doc there. long story, but seemed like dr. o became someone disenchanted with his work there..if you get what im saying....im down to a very very low maintenance dose now...less than one a day. almost home brother...been a very very long ride....thanks for commenting

  • @BigVOLdaddy Thats great! I know its a long ride but well worth it. I hope that more people can get access to this as a tool in their recovery process. It is definitely not a silver bullet but more instrumental than most would admit in getting clean from opiates. BTW dont feel like youre almost home, you are home as you are the person you were meant to be wether youre on subs or totally off everything you are no longer a drug abuser. Peace

  • Your honesty is remarkable.....

  • geat video man im wasted still, dieeeeeeeeeeee

  • praise u friend im hooked on perks im seeking help u motivate me man

  • ok first of all 2 years in a clinic fuckin retarded maximum 2 months on suboxone i went from takin roughly 200-260 mgs of liquid methadone a day to taking a quarter of an 8mg sub so that 2 mgs so im thinkin your all just dragging it all out!!! buck up!

  • @MrSubMD some people just arent cut out to quit...that's me..so i decided a long time ago...take suboxone the rest of my days and have a life....or keep "quitting" over and over till i fuck up again and either die, or spend the rest of my days in prison....you walk your way, i'll walk mine...have a nice day

  • @BigVOLdaddy I say that suboxene is a life saver, and there is a cross on it for a reason, just wish that it was easier to get in to a suboxene doctor..I totally agree with u on all points of suboxen, I want to walk your way...

  • @BigVOLdaddy I say that suboxene is a life saver, and there is a cross on it for a reason, just wish that it was easier to get in to a suboxene doctor..I totally agree with u on all points of suboxen, I want to walk your way...Keep up the good work and hope only the best for u!!! Have a great day.

  • I Have Been A Opiate Addict For Over 25 Years, After Many Stints In Rehabs, I Always Relapsed My 1st Day Out. Then This Past Year Mr.Dr.Was Writing Me 270 8Mgs Of Dilaudid, & Oxycodone For Breakthru Pain. I Started Using Them IV, And Started Using Heroin Also.

I Checked Into A 14 Day Detox Center That Prescribes Suboxone. And I Have Been Out Now For 2 Months Still NO CRAVING FOR ANY DRUGS. I Can Not Believe That This Really Works For Me, I Would Advise Any Opiate Addict To PLEASE CHECK IT OUT!!

  • good work son, Yeah i was a "smackhead" for 20 years , subutex (and good FRIENDS) helped me get my life back. am on 6 ml a day and am starting to feel like my old self again. Good vid mate keep it up. peace from London.

  • @georgie2500 I could use your help. I have been on Oxy for 4 years and it's really taking a toll on my body and wallet. Any help would be greatly apreciated.

  • @bigvoldaddy I watched your video and made me think. I have been using Oxy for 4 years 4 tabs 80 mg per day. At first I took them as precribed. But one day I started chewing. I am tired. I want to stop. And I saw a doctor. He gave me suboxon. And I got so sick. Ended up in the hospital. Any other suggestions? I really could use your help.

  • I have been on methadone for 2 years and was forced into a cold turkey withdrawal,I've been 5 months clean but I've started doing drugs like crystal meth and cocaine to help with PAWS,My paws caused me to lose my job/friends and become a hermit and very depressed and I know somthings got to give,Is suboxone right for me?

  • Great video by the way...good work!! :)

  • suboxone is a very powerful method of help..i have recently relasped not due to a minor breakdown in my life...i was out of state and had no help no resourses for help...my only choice was methadone or street drugs and well needless to say i choose street drugs...i also had no way to get to a methadone clinc....but yesturday i moved back home and tomorrow i will be calling dr o and see if he can get me back on track again...help me regain life not only for myself but for my son as well

  • suboxone is a miracle drug.. it saved my life so far.

  • @metalblade314 Wait until you stop taking it you will want to kill yourself and I'm not exaggerating the depression from it is completely insane. If you take it long term it will take your life.I understand what you mean it probably saved my life also but realize that long term use is very damaging it took over a year to feel somewhat normal. Sometimes I forget that I was addicted to opiates for over six years sometimes which is kinda scary to be honest. But I am certain I will never return.

  • your the man

  • People need to learn the difference between DEPENDENCE and ADDICTION!!! Soooo many are physically dependent yet are unable to stop taking the drug because they get so damn sick they wanna jump off a bridge! Addicts ENJOY chasing the high they get off the drugs & arent interested in getting better. Suboxone is a Godsend, Methadone does nothing but replace one opiate w/ another. You cant get "high" off Suboxone, it keeps you "well". Respect the drug & your recovery and good things will follow

  • i love this video, thank you so much, just made my mind up 2 try this suboxone out.

  • nice video. very good thing to do a video on. im trying to find a clinic in my area where someone i know can get help to quit heroin and be put on suboxone. the thing is he doesn't have insurance and we need to find a place quick so that he doesn't turn back to the heroin.

  • 3 months into it, i m down to 6mg and feeling ok. best way so far to get off H.

  • @ bigvoldaddy....

im an addict n use to do subs just to keep from feeling like shit til i could get more O's, but now im really ready to be done with the Oxys n wanna be able to get on suboxone thru aclinic but as of right now i am currently unemployed n have no medical insurance and am trying to get n2 a clinic so i dnt have to get em off the streets! Ne advice? I plan to stay on subs for as long as it takes!

  • This is a lie! Suboxone is just another opiate without the nod and dreamy effects. It's even worse to get off of than dope if your on it for a long time. You will be sorry! What do you do if you have not way to get it. you still have to go through withdrawls. It sucks when the insurance runs out. It's ok if you got to cop off the street and are at the rist of getting arrested, aids, raped, ripped off or killed ...it is a harm reduction tool that is all.

  • thank you for the video

  • great video i couldnt agree with you more about this medication thanks for posting it

  • Hi all, I too am an opiate addict. I was using IV heroin everyday for over 4 years. I got on suboxone at first without insurance and had to pay $7 per pill for 90 pills per month plus Dr. fees, which was more than $600 a month just to stay clean. I've since gotten great insurance which allows me to get all my suboxone for free and I have a lot of extra suboxone scripts left over. I am willing to help anybody out who wants to get clean but doesn't have the funds to do it. Msg me....

  • @Georgie2500

I really want help but I dont' have insureance, do you have any advice??

  • my ex is addicted to painpills...she uses suboxone so she doesnt get sick when she runs out..she been addicted for years but she is in denial...how can i get her help..

  • I like this one. Maybe you could touch on this topic a little more? Thank you very much for all the hard work you put into your videos! 5 Stars!

  • check out our program. we have the answer to your addiction problems and it is Christ our savior.

  • WOW! what an awsome video.& what a great idea you had to make that! 2 thumbs up to you.Oh &also your doing great! I'm on it 2. I got my LIFE BACK! I go on actual SCHEDULED VACATIONS now lol.Couldn't do that before. Now me and the family vacation all the time b/c I'm living again! I'm not afraid to plan an event b/c I can go! I used to take 2 subs&now Im down to 1 sub daily. I'm ready to half those now! Then I will 1/4 those! Im doin' GREAT! Can't wait to stop all of it.Oh I do skip days to.Thanks!

  • This is such a great idea for a video. I have been on the drug for two years and am now currently tapering off with doctors supervision. Good luck to you and I love the Iron Maiden playing in the background in your car!

  • Suboxone is a great drug when you first get off of opiates to avoid getting the withdrawals from opiate addiction, but let me warn you, Suboxone after taking it for a couple of years is way worse than any opiate you can thank of to get off of. The withdrawals from Suboxone are the worst and they last alot longer for this medicine stays in your body about 37 hours. So please only take for a very very short time, cause its trading one drug for a much much worse drug. Just a words of wisdom here...

  • I wish I would've known about this when I was addicted to pain pills. I was hooked to hydrocodone for two years. I didn't know about suboxone, but I also didn't seek help. I stopped cold turkey. Which was miserable.

Keith- Proud of you boss. Congrats on your sobriety.

  • Good video!! I chose the methadone route and I'm on my 21st year on the stuff. It saved my life also, but I can't deal with the cravings, so long term methadone maintenance is the best option for me. People are different so whatever works for u is what u should do. Don't worry too much about what others think . Its your life and not theirs., Best of luck to ya. Rog

  • Great vid Keith. I had never heard of suboxone. I have heard of methadone and have used it recreationally a few times. Donnie put it best, it allows me to enter the world. Addicts have only one world. Once again Keith, pat yourself on the back bro, I'm proud of you man and proud to be your friend

  • Great video BVD, I feel like I know you after watching that. Thanks for sharing

  • suboxone works excellent for the street users who abuse drugs but are not in real pain. but like a doctor said people who are in chronic pain and battle addiction along with bone cancer dont even qualify for it.

  • people views and oppinions vary in the subject of suboxone..ive been down both streets with it..ive abused it in the past, when i didnt want to quit the oxys and couldnt find, or afford oxys i would take these to keep me from "getting sick" until the oxy train stopped off at my house again. But i've found this time around, taking it as the doc and i see best fit for me, slowly tapering and staying focused on a goal with it, so far, after 10 months and a couple weeks, im almost done and feel gr8

  • @BigVOLdaddy Good work son, I hail from London town and was on heroin for 20 YEARS!!- Luckily we have a great nhs service over here and i get it (subutex) prescribed free of charge. along with diazipam which i have cut down from 50 ml a day to 8 ml a day.

Methadone dosn't work for me its a horrible drug. But each to they're own.

Its so nice to wake up in the morning and not having the FEAR.Having to rob, shoplift etc etc.

I just wish it was free in the states!!! anyhow keep up the good work bro.

  • @BigVOLdaddy You mentioned you were almost done, over 1 year ago. How was quitting suboxone for you? Did you make it through the 40+ days of W/D's? How are your teeth holding up? Suboxone starts rotting your enamel on your teeth after a month of continues use; hence why it was made to take only during severe w/d's...10 days tops! Either way I really do wish you the best man, everyone is different. Next time you go to the doctor ask him how he likes his paycheck he gets from the sub makers.

  • Awesome video. I am so glad you've set people straight.

  • Did you happen to notice the plaque in the doctor's office...the one behind his left shoulder? It read: "FAITH, LOVE & HOPE". It is my HOPE that you keep the FAITH, Keith, and that you get all the LOVE you need to help you change your life. You're a better man than me, I can't even quit smoking! Stay focused upon your goal and make sure that you always keep your mind right. You can do it!

  • suboxone is a miracle drug. thank you for your honesty, open-mindedness, and willingness. god bless you

  • wow great video and good topic

  • It is good see that you are doing so well. I love suboxone I have been on 32 mg a day of it four two years now. I will be on this for life it is like my insulin as my doctor puts it.

  • Was kind of meh with your videos lately to be honest a bit hit and miss but this one is one of the better ones i've seen keep it up man and kudos. I mean this in all the best ways constructive criticism and all. Not that the other videos have been bad just not on topics I generally find interesting but thats all open to opinion.

  • this is the kind of comment i appreciatte. honesty goes a long way with me. your way of approaching it is far better than " you suck man and your videos are gay" so thanks. but to the point, thats why i say im random. im trying to do topical vids and i will get better at them. just not something im used to. so i take everyones criticism and put it to work. i would be a great american idol contestant if i could sing...lol

  • I hope this helps some folks, i had never heard of soboxone before today.

  • oh my god it saved my life. I was on 160 mg of oxy four times a day at one point. If it can help me it will help anyone.

  • You are sure to help many by doing these vids. I applaud and support you for your hard work at getting better.

  • thanks alot. people who know nothing about pill addiction, or addiction general tend to look down on me and people like me, but sometimes when they get to know us, its a whole different story. i feel for anyone suffering. its tough, but im doing excellent right now, and very much hope to stay this way. makes life so much better.

  • I only drink and smoke. I have never been much of a pill. but I've done enough shit even almost the needle (but never got there). There's demons within all of us. but we all need help at some point. thanx for the video bro!!

  • tru that on the demons...like WMG..they are eat up with demons..totally screwed up my mini vacation video..lol...assholes..

  • I have a friend addicted to a multitude of painkillers and my sister is overly dependent on vicodin. Long story on the friend, but she caused a car accident last August that killed her daughter and a friend. Her blood levels came back within therapeutic levels but she was charged with vehicular manslaughter. Unfortunately, instead of turning to offers of help, she has chosen to spiral into an even worse addiction.

I really hope your video helps that one person. You're an inspiration, Keith.

  • thanks debbie, but im hardly an ispiration. hopefully, i will turn out to be a "survivor". and someone else will as well.

  • great video.

I take pain killer recreationally and have been for a cpl years now. For recreation purposes i like methadone WAY more than oxys. I could see how ppl prefer subs over dones cuz dones and just another top painkiller. Trading one for another.

When i decide to stop taking pills i will go cold turkey. Like i did with crystal. I was doing and selling meth for 4 years and one day i decided that i didnt want to live that way. didnt get any help. Havent touched it since. GL to you.

  • seriously, dont go cold turkey. narcotics are much much more dangerous than meth to quit cold turkey. YOU CAN DIE. im not preachin bro, im teachin. when ur ready to quit. gimme a holler, or a trusted family or friend. for realz

  • Major props to you for doing this! 100*s

  • thanks, but its my duty as a human. pain pills are the new plague bro. no foolin.
