@lockinate because UT99 was a ONEhitwonder.... it was THE onehitwonder. EpicGames just failed after this Game in every other Game on PC that came out because they only interested in money not community! But... UT99 was the best Game ever, no "Future" Shooter can be like it or Q3... just look, no Future Shooters coming out since years, only bullshit CoD crap :)

@idddq No future shooters? You are not paying attention my friend! Tribes Ascension, Tribes Universe, Dust514, Planetside2, Rumored Halo MMOFPS from Blizzard, Unreal Tournement 4, all under current development.

Also any list of "best FPS game ever" that talks about UT99 and Q3 is complete without listing Tribes as well, imo.
