  • I can hear a slight delay, can you?

  • you should paint ur wall...in what kind of shithole u live in :P ???

  • @DarkVenomGR - Thanks for loving my wall. That wall was in the process of being redone while I recorded this video. It's a basement wall that's been repaired and painted for over a year. Now there's lights that line the entire room along with the DJ lights.

  • @djcdub607 hey i just got some dicers.. im wondering how it compares to the dicers.. it looks like the same thing to me..

  • can i use this to play video and fade them out on serato?

  • this nano pad is shit. it doesnt work anymore. i only used it once and now it doesnt work, and i only used it for 3hrs. made in china, so i guess thats the problem. most everything made there is shit. do not buy it unless it is not made there.

vestax made in china and same thing. mackie is the same storie. i could go on and on

  • hey ther djcdub... how u doin?... i just wanna ask if how did you connect the Korg Nano pad with serato?... is it directly connected to laptop's usb?... thanx... & more power... =)

  • All you need to do is connect the Nano Pad to your computer via USB cable, install the driver and it's ready to use with Serato. Once this is connected, you're ready to start midi mapping.

  • Man only the 6 12 and 8 keys work on mines. Help.

  • I don't usually comment on youtube because 80% of people that do comment are stupid teenagers with low self-esteem.

But, thank you for this video. It showed me all i need to see, and you sound so polity!

Just one question, can you use, say bank 1 to Scratch Live and bank 2 to the program that comes with the nanopad (sorry I don't remember the name) to do that cool cutting sound effect with the X and Y pad? (assuming that the program is running in the background)

    Thank you for your time.

  • I'm not too sure. I've never tried using the nanpad this way. You might be onto something. I'll play with it and see if I can use it in two programs at one time. Stay tuned.

  • I Will! Thank you for your time!

I'm going to buy this product when i have money. :)

Thank you for checking that out for me.

  • wasup bro gud stuff but i got a ? im thnking if i should buy the m audio trigger finger or the korg nano pad im type low in cash so idk if i should invest in this then the nano pad which is 60$ but i also want to be able to load tracks without having to drag from the library i dont have a rane mixer so can i load tracks with this?

  • You can use this to load tracks if you like. All you need to do is midi map the button of your choice to load left or right track. It's the same as midi mapping anything else.

  • hey man, i notice there's no lights, have u tried playing out with it? cos with no lights i'm guessing it will be hard to see wat ur doin

  • hey so the loops necessarily have to be on the song that ure playing or (if i set it up to a lop on one song and anotherone is loaded on the deck will it search for the one that i set the loop on once i push the botton?)

  • I have the nano pad set to the quick loops that I can use at any point. If you have a loop saved for a specific point in a song, you should still be able to access it at any time. Just recall it from the 1-9 loop save locations where you saved it.

  • haha yer better with your other hand!!

  • that x/y pad works great as the crossfader for the video sl plugin. Just got mine two weeks ago and people are loving it! It works perfectly for video, but I couldn't find any other function that really needs crossfading, so that's the best application I've come up with for it...

  • Hi. Do you have a video explaining the setup? I just bought one to use with my serato but im little confused on how to set it up.

  • hey, does this mean I can just use the nanopad with serato without having decks? thanks.

  • actually you can. you simply need to assign the player fuctions in serato to the pad. It would be similar to playing in internal mode, but using the nano pad instead of the cpu.

  • Lol. Nonokontrol. I like that.

  • loop points can be set instantly and on the fly. You can also extend loop points on the fly as well..

  • i just got one but cant get it to play...... lol

read the instructions but didnt work. ima install the korg usb driver port thing

i mean it lights up but im gonna try it with reason 4 real fast.

  • Hey, good to see you friend. I get a lot of questions from people about Djing and set ups, so i post tutorial when I get extra time. Although I'm way behind on them right now.

  • Very good Video DJ C-DUb. Ha, didn't realize you were making tutorials. Pretty sweet.

  • Yo, just bought mine - funnily enough have it set up exactly the same as you... good video though, especially for peeps that haven't tried it yet.... props.

  • HAHAHA

    I LOL'ed

You are the first person I have seen on youtube using a TAPE RECORDER in 2009 hahaha

    Awesome vid though ;)

  • So i have to download the 1.9 version.....it wont work in the 1.8.4?

  • It should still work with 1.8.3. Make sure to change your file name on 1.8 so 1.9 doesn't overwrite it. 1.9 is a lot of fun with the nano pad because you have the 6 sample players you can assign to the nano pad.

  • is it aviable to put samples on the track pads?

  • can i put samples on the trackpads?

  • If you're using Serato 1.9, yes you can assign the buttons to any of your six samples.

Your other option in previous versions of Serato is to set cue points in the songs and bounce back and forth between them and use those cue points as samples.

I use it this way and you can put together some quick sample mixes nicely and fast.

  • sounds good but i am using the virtual DJ :)

i also look for the akai mpd24 but this is much more expensive then this ;)

  • whould it work with virtual dj?

  • Yes, the Nano pad works with Virtual DJ as well.

To configer the Nano pad, click on Config, Remote control, General MIDI, Config. Then click ADD, pick your choice then click a button on the nano pad to assign it to. Assign the cross fader to to the axis pad which will be labeled "Pitch" in Virtual DJ. Make sure the hold button is on so you can pan left to right and have it stay in those positions.

This works well and is a lot of fun. I will try to post a video for you.

  • Very Nice... Ima buy it
