You really should have used the real names for the pockets, i.e high pocket, mid pocket and low pocket since any pocket shape can have any amount of whip when strung properly

Forgot to mention, whip is when you feel the ball comming out of your head. Jason is explaining hold, not whip, since hold is what you need to throw good fakes and hard shots (cranckshots).
