I can understand the X3 being a smaller X5, but an X1? What's the point of having 3 SUVs that are almost the same except for size?

1-series, 3-series and 5-series make some sense but when translated to SUVs It doesn't quite work and the X1 will just compete with the X3.

Also, an option without 4X4? What's the purpose of it then? Might as well get a 3-series which, if you want, can be equipped with X-drive.

The X1 just seems pointless to me, oh well.

It's a great car but I am watching a significant change in their grill and front head lights which are not so good as last last 2 years models. New 3,5 and 7 series are not more better looking than previous models and I still like the old ones honestly.

I am sorry. I love BMW bikes and cars but all the styling has been lost since 2003 and the X1 is just...dire. Don't launch it. It is the ugliest car yet. So what is it.? Nice interior touches or the styling? I have driven the whole range from 1- to 7-series and interior-wise all is very good but from the outside...oh dear. Pre-2004 3- and 5-Series had it to a tee. The X1 is the ugliest BMW yet.. Bring back the curves - that's what men like.
