  • I don't know why people are hating, this kind of video is actually exactly what I needed.

  • why are people hating on this guy. id rather hear the weirdest effects something has to see what its capable of. u guys are all stupid. what i really want to know though... is how the hell do you fix the ANNOYING hiss ???

  • What´s wrong with you guys? People are free to post whatever they want acording to their will, or you think people would love all your posts? Instead of saying something useless try to improve your point of view.

  • Amen... A waste of my time watching this garbage

  • wordt demo ever

  • Sht up is my favorite too, works well in dark electro, EBM, industrial, not so sure it does in gospel, but you know what you do with the machine ahahahaha.

  • Do you think ill can plug it into my fender frontman guitar amps?in the guitar input?

  • Is it just me thinking this, but does this dude ever wash his fucking socks?

  • THANKS FOR POSTING THIS VIDEO...... NOW I KNOW TO BUY THE BOSS VE-20 ISTED

  • I wanna run roland svc-350 vocoder thru a external effects processor...Cause there are effects on it...And this lookz like the best choice for what it does..I want sumthing that I can use a delay or echo effect n reverb n sum type of distortion..Now can u run all 3 of those fx`s at once? Cause I mainly wanna have the delay or echo effect on at all times. Can u use the delay or echo n link the other effects all at once?

  • Are you an idiot.? That was no help at all.

  • Hi dear, can you do hear me the ROBOT patches please? it possible create a realistic voice effect Kraftwerk type? thanks in advance, regards.

  • I wish the Alvin one didnt work

  • lol you where doing unnecessary funny voices

  • what a prat

  • what a pratt

  • This was funny I think. And this obviously is going to be for someone who plays jazz or pop rock. unless it's the 3rds or octaver or something. Like Mudvayne, L.D. 50 would be used with this.

  • you are an idiot sir

  • it seemed like all the stupid channels worked and all the sucky ones didnt!

  • BTW, the more practical effects (reverb, delay, chorus, vibrato, etc.) are very good, too, and very easy to tweak.

  • @PreschoolJam

Any chance of posting us a demo, then?

I'd like to see what it has to offer for a vocaliist on stage, singing with a rock band. I want to be able to hit the pedal to give an extra blast of reverb or echo/delay, or momentarily kick into lo-fi radio voice etc....

  • I love this demo; thanks starrman12! This is exactly what I was looking for. I'm a children's music artist, so the unusual effects really come in handy; kids love 'em, and grownups get a kick out of them, too. I guess it depends on what kind of music you play. It's nice to hear something that's just fun to play around with. This unit has a bunch of funny, novelty effects, and that's what makes it different.

  • Hey Starrman12, can this be connected to a MAC and compatible with pro tools 8?

  • You're a moron

  • Just get an RP-50 (or 100) for under $100 and get a XLM to 1/8" connector for plugging in a mic. This thing is a total rip off.

  • How does this compare to the Digitech vocalist 4 ? Same Technology and the other models?

  • @solo624 does this have pitch correction

  • Well look at this guy. He's a freakin' mongoloid!

  • in case anyone is viewing this and legitimately looking for a vocal processor, I would go with the BOSS VE-20... just more practical settings/ effects.

    Nice demo regardless.

  • Why don't some things work?

  • Not everyone viewing this is a so serious wannabe probie rock pansy who cares about the harmonising effects and true quality it may be capable of for such a setting. However, the lighting here is crap, and it's called the Digitech Vocal 300. You could be more consistent in your testing too. Other than that it's a good. Thanks

  • My browser freezed while this video was running. And I'm using firefox on a linux machine. Go figure why...

  • Go with the digitech vocalist live 4 im a lead vocalist and it helps an enormous amount

  • i predict your wife will commit suicide!!!

  • @senseix1 you mean his mother?

  • Why do you stay on the shitty effects so long, and skip the good ones?

  • YOUR SO FUCKING DUMB "this ones not working i guess" its a different setting not all of them change your voice drastically FUCKING IDIOT

  • Does this pedal have a pitch shifter setting that related to auto tune?

  • it's got a whacjy pitch shifter, but zero autotune

  • grow up FFS!

  • Hey, guys, I have a digitech guitar processor and almost all the factory presets on it are horrible! But I spent some time figuring it out and now I realize that the factory presets are there to give you an idea of what you can create more than for you to actually use. I'll bet this processor has a lot of more subtle effects that could be found useful.

  • the creepiest blood of jesus ever!! Demo sucked too.

  • nuttinbutdabloodajesus

  • This is shit, I agree.. show us how you can use this in say a rock scenario to really make the vocals pop out.

  • you acted like a little child with this vocal machine. you did not impress me at all.

i dont go on stage with a mickey mouse voice, or cyborg.

how about for us serious musicians, you

do another video, this time show us how great our voice can be enhanced with this vocal machine.

  • Your not cool

  • Go for the Boss VE-20 Vocal Effects Processor you can hear and see a demo from American Music Supply.

  • @ggelini hahah you're such a killjoy, don't hate on people having fun. you can feck right off kid.

  • @ggelini ggelini your such a faggot! whine more nigga!

  • it can have a growl effect?

  • Do you wanna growl?

    Try to learn gutural! =]

  • i got that box had it one day takeing it back that box suck's got a vl3d and i allso got the tc that do's all that and more

  • I've got no problem with the guy putting up this video - hey, at least he did it. But I recently purchased this, and there really are some decent presets, and even more when (And if ), you're prepared to do some tweaking.

  • Why would I want to use any of that shit live? Or ever?

  • LOL

    why would do this live?

  • they should make one that makes you sound like axl rose. That would rock so mother fucking hard

  • I use mine mostly for the Detune.

  • wow, completely useless

  • Could you, PLEASE, show us more about this pedal? I read the presets on de manual (online) and saw that there´s something like MEGAPHONE and Monster FX... but i´d like to hear if it sounds nice.. what about de octave things... does it gets close to the things tcharmonix do? sorry about all of these, lol... i´m really interested in it. thnx!

  • Is there a vocoder setting?

  • Does anyone know if I could hook this up with my auto-tune processor?

  • hmmm.... should be okay, run it in sequence with your auto-tune process before Digitech Vocal 300

  • gracias por el aporte... saludos

  • Is the wah/whammy-type pedal used as an expression pedal on the unit?

  • The presets is nothing. You v got to experiment to find and create what you need. It's just great I made the same effects uses Carl Mcoy in ZOON.Amazing...

  • This sounds cool for other uses. I wouldn't use it for vocals (unless I was doing something with vocals) and instead would use it to manipulate field recordings or run my keyboard through it or something.

  • To the idiots that say only people that can't sing, need vocal effects. You're stupid! Look at your voice as an instrument. Ya know, kind of like a guitar. When I hear guitar, I like distortion.I like the phaser,Flanger, and Delay. Why would you limit your ability to be more creative? You just have to find the right effects. Because you run the risk of sounding cheesy with all these Helium/Alvin effects.

  • why would you buy this piece of shit unless you were a fucking retard like this jack ass

  • sounds like shit

  • hahaahah "something is not working" XD you have to press down the pedal for that fx to work, seems that you have it and already start showing the fx without knowing your pedal XD.

You actually can make your own fx (that's for the people who asks for usefull settings)

  • looks really cool dude but you're going way tooooo fast. Slow down!

  • gawd, are there any useful settings? as soon as jesus got thrown in there i got outta here.

  • lol, the helium effect cracked me up

  • can you run a guitar through this?

  • Hey there! thanks for showing a quick demo of this! been wondering if i should buy this or not! Does it have like a delay and echo... Switch or Knob or preset? I like the harmonizer effect also! Cheers Natt :)

  • can you make another video of this please?

and try not to skip pass anything that doesn't make your voice really high.

    are you twelve years old?

i wanna actually hear what the other effects sound like.

    not just helium and alvin.

    doosh.

  • your expecting him to actually spend his time making another video just so you can see what this thing does? and after you call him a douche? i think your a douche

  • 5th up is the only decent effect.

  • That's not actually true. I own a digitech vocal 300. The guy in the video doesn't know how to use it properly. You can get some quite good effects. It's a matter of making your rather than using the presets.

  • thanks for giving me an idea of what this does...

  • err has it got a distortion on their for the vocals if so can u send me a vid of it casue i really wonna find a good dist pedal for the vocals i use in me band

    cheers bud looks good tho

  • Hah, i have a Korg R3 that i also use as a mic effect when i play guitar instead of keys and it sounds 1000 times better!

  • OK thanks to this video now I dont want want one of these anymore.

  • i read ya on that, bro.

  • (1st mans says) "wtf is that useful for?"

(2nd man says) "making a nob of urself".

(1st mans says) "na.... it ok, ill keep my money"

  • I think the presets are useless but if you sit down and write your own it works pretty well. I use it live and to record and its hanging in there.

  • why is he highering his voice when helium comes ... ffs.

  • grunge?????????????

  • does it have a "help me I can't sing" function?

  • thats a waste of money

  • nope it's not if you know how to create your own presets. Those in the vid are factory presets which has practically no use.

  • Technical difficulties...oh boy..guess I'll pass on this product for now. YOu should have edited that out!

  • When it comes to the presets that makes your voice higher, you (not the pedal) go into your falsetto(high voice). Great product though.

  • It's so stupid how you're trying to make your voice sound like how you expect it to come out... speaking in a "high voice" for the Alvin preset or whatever.

  • does is have an envelope filter effect?

  • yes it has.

  • is this the vx300 or vx400?

  • Cool demo, you have to keep the pedal down for the few effects you didn't get any sounds for lol.

  • im definitley going to get this!!!

  • Does it have a "complete toolbox" setting? Because that's exactly what this clown is.

  • I'm a vocalist looking for a footboard, but I don't really need all those "freaky" effects. Would it just be a waste of money for me to buy one of this or do the vocal 300 got more quality effects as well?

  • Yer I'm with you on this. I need a solid basic vocal effects processor - if it has some 3rds and 5ths vocal harmonies - great.

  • id buy 1 just to mess around wit it. not for stage thats just for ppl that cant sing

  • it's not $300 it's $200

  • But I will say that Digitech's latest offering (VL2) is something to write home about!! Now that thing is whaaack! (and more worthwhile, in my humble opinion)...anyways...rock-on.

  • mmmmm....interesting...though I was making those sorts of 'noises' back in 1986, via an SPX-90 MkII!!....I'm sorry, I just don't get it.

    Cheers.

  • how much did that cost

would i need that for knights of cydonia(by muse)

or could the microkorg do that anyway?

  • Great video. Could you do another one showing the other voice effects? Id like to know more about the force and other low voiced effects.

  • Haha, pretty sweet. Digitech do come up with some pretty cool stuff. Thanks for the video. I saw the ad in a Guitar World mag, and the demo page on Digitech(dot)com was down! haha
