Although this is a little dramatized and the guide is a huge tool, I went to OU and experienced some creepy things my Freshman year in Brown.  I lived in Sargeant Hall my Sophomore year, right next to Wilson, and never experienced anything. But Athens is most definitely haunted and has a great deal of spiritual enegry running through the area. The cemetaries are really creepy. One of the 5 that forms the pentagram is the scariest place I've ever been too. It also "moves" apparently.

I have extreme doubts that this story is accurate. You can't just place the boiler room anywhere you like. I number of years back I looked at getting my ticket. Too many codes to mention but anyone who is an engineer could tell you its unlikely an average dorm room could possibly be adequate.
