wait, are you sure it is equivalent to the 9x9? This is face-turning, right? So there are only four center pieces. To match up with the 9x9, it would need to twist on the edges, so the six edges can correspond to the six faces of the cube, right? (i.e. this is related more closely to the pyraminx than pyramorphix/master pyramorphix)

rubiks 4x4x4 and 5x5x5 arent much fun to solve, if you have these... get different ones :)

if you can solve 5x5x5 you can solve 7x7x7 and 9x9x9.

so far, i only have rubiks 3x3x3, rubiks 4x4x4 and the limited edition versions of the vcube 7v7v7, dazzler and illusion.

the 3x3x3 is nice, the 4x4x4 is terrible, the 7v7v7s are nice. and everyone says the 5v5v5 rubiks is even worse than the rubiks 4x4x4.

get the vcube 5v5v5, im sure that it is even better than the vcube 7, which is already much better than the rubiks 4.

It should be called the pop'n'lock failcube. I might get the V-cube 5x5x5 or the QJ 5x5x5 on Dealextreme (I like the 4x4x4 and they're cheap). the mechanics are probarbly more or less similar to the 9v9v9. the spider of the 9v9v9 goes in 6 directions, the spider of this thing here goes in 4 directions, so all the parts look different and all the angles are different, but the way the spider holds all the other parts is the same. and which parts touch which other parts is probarbly also similar to the 9v9v9.
