I like Sandra's interpretation of this fado much more than Amalia's,or anyone else's. For me this fado only came to life and meaning when I heard Sandra sing it. I like old recordings of Amalia Rodrigues, but I am not convinced that no one else can sing this type of music, or that anyone else has to live in the shadow of someone else. Viva, Sandra!
