Oh don't get me wrong Mr. Spoon, I love their older stuff, and I love that it's fast. I'll also say that if they slowed it down, it wouldn't be very good. Their old style was crazy and fast and that's why I fell in love with their music. However, Battleship just sounds better slowed down just a bit. In your sped up version, the beginning sounds horribly rushed and the break down comes on way too quickly. It completely loses it's power. That's just how I feel.
