@AmaniArk there's no joke there. The sad part is, is that even at networking events, depending on where you are, the black guy is still going to be the odd man out. Business...like most of America actually... is full of white dudes. Leave them alone for too long, and they'll form another club.

Fair enough, a lot of people are doing well and I do agree that it's more productive to focus on the positive. But let's not downplay the situation. Disregarding the BLS numbers which are manipulated almost annually to present a sugarcoated reality, real unemployment in the US is around 15-22% and underemployment is another 20-25%. So in reality around 50% of Americans are living in some form of poverty. Another 20-25% are barely staying afloat and the remaining 25-30% are doing great.

Well, just make one, can't be that hard! Oh, it takes years and acutal job experience and references to build one? Oh, shit.
