awesome video. I bought this game at day one in the box set and I still havnt gotten around to playing it yet, but I eventually will sometime later on. I do need to review both this game and mana khemia 2 eventually.
This sounds like a great game. I recently picked up a few PS2 games for almost nothing and it's my first real venture into the PS2. There are so many great games on the PS2 which I missed out on.
The audio sounds great in this video. I watched your first couple of videos before this and I had to turn my volume way up just to hear anything at all! =oD
I should review some games I'm more familiar with. Both of my previous video reviews are of games I hadn't really played before.
Great video man! This game sounds interesting so far...I'll have to check the other parts out later but I'm definately gonna check em out...By the way, I'm subbing...And Thanks for the shoutout, I really appreciate it!
I only played Atelier Iris 2, and I got Ar Tonelico 2... though AT2 seems to follow the whole tri-ace strategy of: have a large list of attacks that all hit the enemy a lot of times
Ar Tonelico 2 was pretty odd. It almost tried to be similar to Paper Mario with the timed defenses, but with a sort of rhythm game element to it in that the things come as a wave of hits that you need to defend individually.
I agree. Not a lot of people know about it so it's criminally underrated in that sense. I think the game's a lot of fun, the humour is great, the characters are fun, the story is both fun and well written, even if it's not got the usual RPG plot with lots of twists and turns. The writing doesn't really need that element to be good, which is awesome.
I didn't talk about the music, graphics, or story in the video because I wanted to talk exclusively about the game system. [cont...]
[...cont] But I will eventually do a review of the game where I will touch upon those things as well. If I had made this a review it'd have been ANOTHER two parts.

Hey man, thanks a lot for the comment. Your videos are great!
If you have any questions about PS2 games, especially RPGs, you can ask in a comment or PM me. I'll do my best to be able to answer your questions.
I also do a lot with the DS, so if you want to know anything about games for the DS you can also ask.
Or about anything, really, but those are the two consoles i know the most about!
Thanks again for the comment, dude.

I bought Mana Khemia the day it came out, but it was not compatible with my crappy 80 gig PS3...I really need my PS2 back!

Oh yeah, dude, you definitely need a PS2. It's an incredible console! It's my favourite, in fact!

No problem. Your channel definitely deserve lots of shoutouts. You're very laid back and entertaining, and you have a lot of knowledge.
The rest of the vid delves further into the systems of the game like alchemy and combat, which are the most interesting parts.
Thanks for the comment and the sub!

It was a very different game for sure.
Thanks for the comment, mate.

I beat Mana Khemia, I think last month. One of the better turn based rpgs I've played in a long time.
