I have brought the Flex-Cut they are great also I've brought the Mora wood carving knife it's great I prefer it to the Flex Cut but the blade ain't flexible but combine the Flex Cut with the Mora and it's Great...My opinion anyway as I have started about a month ago, but this guy on here knows more than me as he probably been doing it for years thanks.
i have 3 x-acto knifes and there all metal even the collets..mt first hobby knife was a cheap discount store knife and the first time i used it the plastic broke. the all metal x-acto i have and use work great.. no matter what knife you use or like stay safe and have fun.

I just bought a x-Cato knife to begain whittleing and the blades break off and there not sturdy!
