  • This coming July, there'll be be a DVD release called "The Best of Sesame Spoofs", which will include Miami Mice. Cool, eh?

  • Looks like Ernie arrived at a rare time when things were calm in the Miami Mice office. No stamping monsters, low flying airplanes, stampedes or anything like that. And thank God, because considering how uptight he already was, he probably would have fainted in terror if he encountered one of those.

  • The Miami Mice were a real neat additon to Sesame Street and they provided Kevin Clash and Martin P. Robinson with another pair to share.

I'd love to see the one with the Count. I don't remember seeing it as a kid ever.

  • I wish the Mice had spoofed versions of the Miami Vice dudes names instead, like "Sprokett & Stubbs" or "Crackle & Schlub". But then again, they needed Latino Mice who spoke Spanish, hence "Tito", etc.

  • I wanna hear the story about Ernie waking up Bert with the duckie squeeks.

  • "Send out the rubber ducky unharmed, do you read me?" Priceless. How do you break a SQUEAKER, anyway?

  • CCCEEEERRRAAAAAADDDDOOOOOO. lol

  • Ernie without his rubber duckie is like Linus without his blanket.

  • I just love this Miami Mice Theme music. Such an awesome sound to it.

  • Kevin Clash is the announcer at the beginning.

  • I just thought of this: You know what would've made a good Miami Mice skit? One that had Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas in it.

  • And Edward James Olmos.

  • that miami back drop is crazy

  • who were the better actors the Muppets or Don Johnson?LOL love this Sesame Street..

  • i REMEMBER THIS ONE A LITTLE BIT AND i LIKE IT.

  • HAAA! i remember this skit!

  • Man... and to think they got away with the hostage negotiation refference. Wow! Sesame Street in the 80's... Parodies aplenty!

  • Does anybody have an episode of "Starship Surprise" here?

  • The "cerrado workshop" LMAO..that sounds like what someone would actually say if they did not know spanish..lol.

God I so remember this skit.

  • "Chill out, main!" LOL!

  • Anything for a laugh! Miami Mice rocks!

  • how does a rubber duckie get broken anyway ?? :-)

got to love the lady's hat... great vid btw

  • I always wanted to bite on the mice's noses when I was little.. lol.. I totally forgot about that.

I love the way the green one talks. "He's commin at ya in Spaaaa-nnnnnish."

    "Que pasa means 'what's hap-a-NIN'!"

  • my favorite thing about this sketch is the music. The music is just too cool.

  • What was Ernie doing in Miami anyway?

  • Well, I don't think they ever say where Sesame Street is, it could very well be in Miami for all we know.

  • It's in New York.

  • Miami Vice always had tons of celebrity cameos, so Ernie would have fitted right in.

  • what about bert?

  • OMG, I'd forgotten about this till now! lol! I love it when anglos try to learn languages. lol. ciao.

  • Ernie's got security issues..LOL

  • That was awesome! I definitely remember this one too- you can tell they were totally ragging on Miami Vice :-) And I love when Ernie's explaining what happened to Rubber Duckie- when he was waking Bert with the squeaking and well- you don't want to hear what happened! LOL :-)

  • *giggle* I just love Ernie's emotionl displays (and his butchered Spanish too); ¡four stars! :)

  • wow I've learned a new spanish word! lol I wonder what Bert did to Rubber Duckie... coz Bert is evil, right? ^^ (... no that's not true, I love Bert!)

  • Kurraido; What Kind Of Word Is That?

  • was'n the count going to help at the space center?

  • Ah!

I haven't seen this since the 80's, and had forgotten all about it, but now I'm sitting here mouthing the dialogue! This is definitely an 80's Baby's Sesame Street...

  • Gotta love the driving scene

  • Yeah! Gotta love that car.

    Muppets look cool in Raybans

  • haha, yeah.

  • i am lookinmg for that and trhe one with kermit the frog

  • I'm 20 years old, and I haven't seen this since I was like 2! For years I had very vauge memories of two green and purple mice that wore sunglasses and drove a convertibe. I was begining to think that maybe I had imagined the whole thing.

  • Well, MGHSHour2, the other Miami Mice episode had the Count in it, wanting to count something exciting. So, the Miami Mice took him to visit a space center, to watch the countdown of a rocket taking off.

  • what about the other episode of miami mice

  • 20 years and going strong!

  • I agree with MuppetPro. Could you please upload the one with Kermit, and the other one with the Count? I would love it so much, and this is a request. The Miami Mice skits are awsome!

  • And they passed Rizzo up? Sheesh!

  • Excellent. Loved the scene with all three of them in the car!

  • Of course. He's a rat, not a mouse.

  • Awesome! Do you have more Miami Mice or Sesame Street from the 1980s? Do you have the one with Kermit?

    _Eric ;)

  • Tito is awesome! I've never ssen Miami Mice either."We demand the release of the ducky!" Ernie reminds me of myself-as I too get extremely anxious like that!

  • First time I have ever seen Miami Mice!
