I really don't see the fucking point of widescreen... yeah, we only vertical scroll, that doesn't mean it's a privilege to scroll a lot more. I can't wait till I have my X60 tablet if I can afford it (poor student :P )

From other photos that I've seen of this tablet, no, it's not that square. I think the aspect ratio of the video gives a false impression.

I've been thinking of buying one of these, even though it's a slightly older model than the others IBM makes...it's more affordable and you can find plenty of these brand new on eBay for around $850 - $1,000.

it's not the aspect ratio, well not fully. It really is a lot more square shaped than the standard rectangular laptops everywhere else. it's how the classic thnkpads were made, and now it's a dying breed (thank goodness)

It is partially the aspect ratio, but nor is the screen widescreen. In reality the screen doesn't appear square-like. Lenovo recently updated this model with a widescreen version though, so don't worry!
